Yep it's extremely modest considering the type of game it is. I also wonder how much space it takes on the PS3.
Agreed by looks of the early previews and gameplay footage it certainly does look that way. It's also reinvigorating and refreshing towards Sandbox games.
No one has appeared to make a mid western sandbox game quite as good this one, even though they did try with the first Read Dead on the last generation of systems.
I also think that nobody expected the game to look this good in terms of gameplay.
Your damn right you could. I remember over one year ago, at the end of 2008 I bought a 1Tb hard drive for a little under that price in my region.
However I do acknowledge that you have to take into account that 2.5 inch hard drive cost more than 3.5 inch hard drives per gigabyte. But seriously at that price that's extortionate.
I completely agree with everything that you have posted. I would also like to add to those people that are talking about people not understanding the story if it does go to other platforms like the PS3.
Well I do not think that Bioware would restrict their game to not accommodate new players of the Mass Effect series. That would be effectively restricting your market base. No developer would really want to do that.

The best solution was for Microsoft to have never released the 360 so early at the expense of its consumers. That way they could have product tested the console before they released it.
Yeah I know many people may argue that paid off, because they wanted to beat Sony to the market. However that was at the expense to the end user. I know what I would rather at least and that would have been for Microsoft to delay the release of the 360 for at least 6 months perhaps longer.

Back on topic I think this was a obvious choice to make the PS3 as lead platform. Poor ports can have a negative impact on sales if it's not done correctly. That way at least everyone should be happy.

Exactly what I wanted to say. People write these articles as if people are going to be surprised. Everyone already knew that the PC version of Crysis 2 would look better, since its an open-ended platform. Whereas consoles are closed-ended platforms.
This whole PSN is not really that much of a big deal. People were just trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill. I even think at this time of posting this, most of the issues have been resolved.

Well that happens both ways. I remember when they first showed Killzone 2 and EGM's Dan Hsu labbelled Killzone 2 as the "Dumbest A.I" and Halo 3 with the "Smartest A.I".
That was hardly a fair comparison considering Killzone 2 was always going to release much later at the time than Halo 3. Since Halo 3 was announced for the fall of that year.
So these things can happen both ways. Need proof look no further than here.
