i was in fao schwarz toy store in midtown manhattan about a month ago with my niece, nephew and sister who came to visit me in nyc, and their demo 360 had the red ring of death too! i thought about taking a pic of it, but didn't feel like wasting a jpeg. someone in nyc should go and check if it's still dead.

gorgeous man, i really think so. looks miles beyond the beta, which i'm hoping will have a few more layers of polish applied. really though, these campaign pics, the colors are very rich and everything seems very dense. check out the shot of chief with the arbiter- amazing details, lighting, etc. beautiful, and i love the first person shot, seeing the edge of the visor, metroid prime style. immersive. i think it all looks quite lovely. i know it's only stills, but it seems so...fluid, smooth....

there is so much that bungie is holding back from us, so little we know, so early and unfinished the beta is. the beta is such a tiny little sneak peek, graphically as well, i believe. i can't wait. i really can't wait to get a glimpse of the campaign, and i agree that these new armor types are not only super cool aesthetically but great strategically as well. a more robust, deeper, and customizable multiplayer experience? sounds good to me!

is sigma coming to the 360? seems team ninja is pretty quiet about this. it seems like a ps3 exclusive right now, but i also haven't really heard anyone pose the question in an interview. timed exclusive? if sigma stays ps3 exclusive then i would expect gaiden 2 to be cross platform, because team ninja would want the entire series on at least one system, like how they put the entire doa series on the xbox and 360. will sigma also come to the 360? (i want achievements! not home trophies!)
just think if microsoft included a built in hd dvd player in the 360, that would boost hd dvd player sales by oh, i don't know, about 11 million? but then i'm sure the price wouldn't be 399 u.s.......

for the ps3 version, it's still missing achievements errrrrrrrrr entitlements. have fun exploring your slightly less glitchy and slightly less popping in mountainous cyrodill.....i'll enjoy my 360 version and its achievements .
the only thing that bugged me a bit at first about the 360 version was the jaggies, especially during the day they are more noticeable. i really haven't seen much crazy pop in and the framerate hasn't been a problem either. now though, i don't even really notice the jaggies i think because i've had a bit of time in the game world and realized how amazing the experience is...
