I agree with the generic term,thats how I felt after watching the 1hour gameplay preview, I just see nothing
that hasnt been done a million times before so why the sudden rush to hail it as a masterpiece. I dont expect
it to bring in the scores quiet like people are anticipating, but time will tell.
careful buddy you will trigger the innapropriate police, but yes its lame the way people behave over video games these days, I know there has always been rivarly between platforms going back decades but it was never like it is now. People take it all to heart and too seriously imo. Games are supposed to be a fun passtime not a toxic passtime.
The reason the ps4 keeps marching on regardless is because microsoft is not delivering truely potent games that
get the masses interested, seriously I own a xbox and im not excited about any of the upcomming games. They need
to invest heavily or perhaps start buying up studios as a console without unique killer game titles is never going to get a strong hold on the market.
What most people dont get is it dont need to be number 1 to be making money, same as other industries there are multiple brands in various market positions but they still make money despite some being higher placed than others. But they definately need to up the ante this year, the xbox software line up is quite boring to be honest, it needs some life breathing into it.
Looks great I miss arcade style racers, but please get rid of that awful voice it reminds me of killer instinct character selection.
Even if they are third place it dont mean they are not turning a profit.

Ps4 and xbox cater for different tastes, if you want platform exclusive games get the ps4 if you want the best of multiplat titles get the xbox x, it is what it is, but it certainly gets boring reading on here from people repeating the same mantra about both consoles like parrots. I think we all know what is what by now. I actually think this gen sucked on both consoles and I went more in the PC direction which seems to offer more than any console can.
Never been too bothered about BC personally as there are maybe less than half a dozen games I still care about from previous gen consoles, while BC is a nice feature its certainly not a deal breaker.

I seen a few comments in the past trashing forbes as not a credible source when it said favourable things about xbox now it says something good about ps4 I dont hear a single word lol, people on here are so weird and hypocritical if only they could see it. Anyway back to the game, I am looking forward to giving it a try, this game could possibly be the only single player game I would actually enjoy.
90% of my friends didnt buy a ps4 though, they are a mixture of all platforms and id imagine in the big wide world beyond n4g that is probably the case is for most people.

its not just the horse power this time, i think they will need to be a bit quirky like the switch is and maybe have a
system that can be played on the tv and also handheld. and perhaps a few other new ideas.
They are like nintendo now in the sense they are too reliant on old ip's, lets face it more gears, more halo, more forza is what they have counted on to sell consoles this generation and I think, well in my eyes I think them games are not enough anymore and they have been caught off guard as they cant seem to produce much else beyond those games.
They do need to go back to the drawing board, and also fire a few people and bring in some new blood.
Its too late this gen no matter what they do, but they can try salvage their reputation so that people look at them
in a more favourable light for the next gen of consoles. quite frankly i wouldnt buy the next xbox if the they continue to
not have no real exclusive titles, so they need to show they are putting the work in.
