Damn. They dumbed the game down. Empire and Napoleon were hardly complex.... I like IGN but they always blatantly support the dumbing down of games. Still getting Shogun tho.

This is ironic, every Sony fanboy cries saying that "M$" is buying exclusives and timed exclusives. But no one complains when Sony is probably buying exclusivity for HD trilogy remakes for POP, Splinter Cell, and Tomb Raider. The hypocrisy of the site astounds me.

Really because I own a PS3 and I bought myself a laptop last year that can handle most games on high settings. The laptop only gets RTS and the PS3 gets Sony exclusives and superior versions like FFXIII. I'd rather ge the entirety of the triology on my 360 over 2/3 of the trilogy on the PS3. And how am I hating? I told PS3 owners to enjoy the game. I guess to hate now means choosing something over Sony.

Honestly, even with the DLC included and slightly upgraded graphics because its using the updated ME3 engine I still prefer my copy on the 360. First, I got it a year earlier. Second, ME2 is a continuation of my story and my Shepherd. PS3 is running on ME3 engine. Don't you think the 360 version of ME3 will be running on the same engine too? Obviously they developed the ME3 engine for the 360/PC/PS3 versions of ME3,and then ported ME2 PS3 version onto it. So we don't know which one is the lead console for ME3 yet.

Probably because they consider some aspects of a game more important than another? I'm sure many would find gameplay or graphics > all other apsects. That's my reasoning on why IGN doesn't use an average.
That means its the "best simulator" only. Emphasis on simulator, that refers to the physics of the game. Just because the game best showcases natural life driving does not make it a good game. A FPS could best simulate real life gun shooting but does that make it a great game? There are numerous other qualities judged in a review of a game. I'd be more convincned with this "best simulator" argument if the person stated that if was the best game in the driving genre.

It was so easy to create an ending to Mass Effect 3, I don't know how they screwed it up.
Paragon option high EMS: destroy the reapers, Shep lives, hug your romance, earth is saved, see a series of epilogue cutscenes from your actions throughout the series.
