Maybe this is why Socom isn't being made. Sony doesn't have any studio available that is interested in taking on the IP right now. (Zipper and Slant Six both closed down)
Sony is just there to green light and fund the projects. It kind of explains why each Playstation console have such a diverse library of games from different genres.
It can't be a coincidence(with PSX this weekend) that we're hearing more rumors on Agent.

I had the game pre-ordered because I have been looking forward to a rainbow six game since vegas 2. After looking at all the games that came out that I need to finish. I cancelled the preorder mainly because I'm not paying $60 to essentially rent the game for however long Ubisoft decides to keep the servers up. The response towards this game appears to be pretty negative that the online community will probably be dead in a few months.
I think you're confusing this with regular game sharing. This loophole allows you to phantom share over the 2 device at the same time limit.
The reason this loophole works is because the PS4 OS currently does DRM verification only when you launch the game. Sony can easily patch this by doing another DRM verification when accounts are switched while in-game. I have known about this for awhile but with this being on youtube and Black Ops 3 being shown as an example. If Sony doesn't know about this before, I'm sure they will know about it now.

You forgot Quantum Break. I'm definitely looking more forward to the 2016 line up for my xbox one. Will be getting Gears of War 4, Halo Wars 2, Quantum Beak, Forza Horizon 3, and Scalebound. I only bought Gears of War Remastered and Halo 5 from the 2015 line up. Skipped Forza 6 since I'm not a sim racer fan and Tomb Raider for Fallout 4.
Most gamers move onto another game really quick which leaves the online community to die off within 2 months of release for most games. It also doesn't help that the devs introduce season passes to split the install base up even further.

I don't see a point in complaining about the free games we get each month. We all know MS/Sony has the upper hand since they have multiplayer behind a paywall.
If it wasn't a Treyarch developed Call of Duty this year. I would had gone for Star Wars Battlefront but Black Ops 3 simply has more content for my $60.
I'm loving the free content and support from DICE LA. The online community for this game is still bigger than lots of recent games that came out including Hardline.

I'm going to wait for an xbox one slim before I replace my current xbox one. I was able to see this console at the Microsoft Store on Friday. It looked real nice but I'm saving up my money for Black Friday deals on Xbox One/PS4 games.
Microsoft is probably planning to release this on the Xbox One's 2nd anniversary.
