I personally own both systems now and I just recently purchased a ps3. I key differences that I have noticed when playing ps3 are that everyone is a mute in online play, game loads are MUCH slower, online play lags out way to much, resistance is a cheesy ass game(oh and graffixs suck!) the absolute best thing the ps3 has going is mgs4(which 5 is also headed to xbox), a blu-ray player(which hands-down is one of the best I've seen) and Enchanted? Ok I get the fact that it is slimmer, and a hundred less, but if you already have a ps3 than why would you buy another? There is not a faster processor, no better graffics, and the same crappy PSN. I would much rather keep my old ps3 and invest that 300 in a iPhone or a xbox 360, sorry but I just don't see what the hype is about. ????
