I wish they'd put this effort into a story mode.
Dragon Quest VIII. A proper remaster, not one on 3DS.
It's refreshing to hear that someone new to the series likes the game. It has flaws but Caroline gets why this game is so prominent in many fans' (excuse me for saying this) hearts.

I found it really jarring, and I hated it when the wonderful overworld music was interrupted.
Development is unpredictable. Sometimes it doesn't work your way. I don't think most people will see it that way though. I think it's going to come out on the Wii U, but we have seen projects like Final Fantasy XV and The Last Guardian presumably on PS3 and then getting moved to PS4.
I'm tired of this topic. If you don't like it, don't buy it. Developers should have the freedom to design their characters however they like.

It's time for publishers to come up with new ideas rather these tired franchises and genres.

I don't care honestly. I've had enough of these modern shooter games. I'd like a grand RPG or something with an interesting story behind it.
I've heard that the Xbox One S has problems running certain Blu-rays though.
I believe the game is coming out in 2017. They're already doing voice work. That's one of the last parts of the process for the Kingdom Hearts series. Plus, it's going to be the 15th anniversary of the series. It makes sense to release a mainline title at this timeframe.
This game went to the bargain bin for a reason. It was dull.
This generation has been bland enough for them to become one of the best game developers. The opportunity is there. Now we just need the games.
I'd rather wait for a new console than buy this.
Development is a tricky thing. If a trailer is released 3 months before the game comes out and it looks amazing, and then it looks horrible when it releases, I can understand the aggravation. However, I think it's fair to see a downgrade if the engine or the consoles can't handle it if the trailer before was a year out. We as a gaming community have to think more practically.
