Downloaded 1.03 and still can not log on to LBP server. This is worse then the beta, which I could at least play online. Nothing has changed with my system/setup and all other online games/functions work fine on my ps3. What's odd is that other people on my friends list were able to log on at play last night at the same time I was unable to do so. What is going on Sony??
totally true. The bottom line is that it's easier for the developers to put it on the hard drive. Most people do not realize the extra development time it takes to get a game to run smoothly from disc based storage. Less development time, less cost for the developer. In the case of the 360 the developers have to put in that extra time because not all 360's have hard drives. But, in my mind they have got a little lazy with the PS3 because they know the hard drive will be there.

It has to do with the fact that Valve has always been a PC developer, it's what they know, and are setup to do. 360 games can be developed pretty much the same way you would for the PC. On the other hand, Valve has stated that the PS3 was dumb and a waste of time. I suspect that Valve had a hard time getting their minds around the PS3 Cell, RSX architecture. It quite different from long standing PC development techniques. Anyhow, too bad for Valve. It only hurts them in the end. It would not...

It's viable or cost effective at this point. But, it would be ironic if Nintendo used an really expensive storage solution after going cheap with older tech on the Wii. I just don't think it's going happen.

You know when I first started playing ng 3 I was like, "what the heck!!" I was not happy. But, after spending more time playing it I have really changed my mind. I'm most of the way through a second play on hard..... loving it. A NG fan should not play anything lower then hard mode. I have a hard time believing a reviewer play the whole game and honestly felt an 3 was fair... even a 5 is pushing it. I vote a solid 8.
