Squall is annoying as hell and I constantly found myself rooting against him, I did not want him to be happy. I did enjoy the gameplay though, just wish the storyline was more interesting. I mean come on the damn villain in the game doesn't even show up till the very end.

It will be less than 3.5 years since FF12 when 13 comes out, I don't see that as a long wait. It takes time to make a game worthy of the FF name and the time off allows us gamers to look forward and cherish the next installment even more. I guess in the age of Halo and COD people have grown impatient.
How the hell are they milking the franchise? Every new game in the series is met with amazing reviews and stellar sales. The FF series has never let me down and I'm looking forward to playing each new installment in the series for a long time.

I could and will be playing that card game for hours today. While FF8 may lack multiple mini games that you enjoy the card game alone is enough. It's the best mini game in any FF game IMO.
