I don't know why people complain, healthy competition means that we get a better product, be that if you are a GT fan, Forza fan or both. Pretty disappointing to be honest. I think most people expected to be able to invite friends into a non-ranked tournament, (online features similiar to those in HD Remix), but you just get paired up with a random opponent and then if you win you qualify to play against someone else at the same stage in that mini tournament as yourself.
Edit : Connection issues seem to be all sorted though which is good.

GT5 'may' see a christmas 2009 release in Japan, but I certainly don't expect to see it in Europe or Stateside before Spring 2010. I would love to be proved wrong however.

Yes, you could say Forza 2 has decent physics, then again, that depends on what you compare it against. It has a very 'arcade like' physics model that you can really tell apart when you try using the 360 steering wheel, the weight of the cars doesn't feel natural.
