I, for one, enjoyed Sonic Unleashed, but only the sonic levels. they were good and gave a good feeling of speed, but that's not all of what sonic is made up of. i consider myself to be a pretty hardcore sonic fan but im a gamer as well and Sonic team is ruining my favorite gaming franchise.

I have learned not to respect or even consider what gamestop says.
Granted Sonic Unleashed is not a great game by any means but a 3.5 is simply too low. i have played both version of the game and the level designs are fantastic and give you a sense of speed that has never before been present in any sonic game.

Its funny i have seen ONE ad for this gamer, a gamespot ad, and thats it.
When all is said and done people can flame each other, but it comes down to the fact that Many many gamers will absolutely love this game, and a few will not.
All that matters is whether you enjoy every second of this masterpiece.

I would say that in this day and age where a single batman game, a great game, can totally redefine a characters reputation in games (if done right).
If sega can pull this one out, which i feel i unlikely, Sonic will be in the limelight again.
I am hoping and praying that SEGA will not screw this up.
