Subjective question needs subjective answers.
1. It it good for developers - it would seem no.
2. Is it value for gamers who like a wide variety of genres - 100%
3. Is it value for gamers who only play FPS - no.
PS Plus isn’t worth it, it’s a waste of money - I don’t have a Play Station.
That you can actually play it 2 player properly, with or without AI. AI couldn’t do any of the tasks, and if you got that bug where you couldn’t either, game over.
What Co-Op? The game doesn’t really have it, it’s a shit ‘helper system’. Only one player progress, that is not co-op in the slightest.
It’s like someone said ‘Hey, remember the Big Head Cheat Mode in the 90’s? Let’s make that into a figure’.
I personally don’t get it either, I have lots of collectibles that are realistic proportions and I much prefer them, but each to their own.
I’d play it too if they bothered to make Co-Op achievements possible, can’t believe they overlook such a basic as a being able to properly work a farm together without just the host gaining progress. Fail.
Ugh. Tough read. The word ‘are’ needs to be understood.
What’s new about it? I don’t really enjoy the progression of Forza, they just throw everything at you in quantity not quality. Smash into a tree, have some points, spin a wheel, here’s a free car, won a race, here’s 6 more, drive down this road and accidentally go through a speed trap, here’s more cash/races/stars.
I’d like it to be a little more focused and improving to win, earning your car and proving yourself. Still, it’s a turn your brain off kind of game, and it does...
Well said, that man.
I’d rather they had actual co-op this time instead of the hired help version of it that doesn’t allow achievements.
Thank you, kind sir. You have saved me a click.
I’m downvoting you because that kind of rational comment just isn’t welcome here boy-oh.
Also, I played it yesterday and have to agree with the original comment above completely.
Firstly, I have no problem with people wanting a physical copy, I understand that totally. I’m mostly all digital but have quite a few collectors editions.
What makes me laugh though, the world is, rightly, encouraging recycling and lessening plastics use. Here we have an industry that can completely, readily abolish all use of unnecessary plastic packaging and go all digital, but can’t just yet because of the outcry.
It may not happen it our life time, ...
You can buy to own, for a cheaper price, every single game released on Game Pass.
The Gaming industry is a behemoth entertainment medium. The ‘good’ games will always succeed whether on Game Pass or not, have you seen the amount of absolute trash that is released every week? Hit the new releases tab without Game Pass and it is full of something I could only describe as shovelware, the games on Game Pass are generally of much, much higher quality. It’s survival of the fittes...
What an absurd comment. I don’t think I’ve heard anyone say Game Pass is for budget gamers, I think it’s more of a savvy gamers choice. I’ve still purchased your so-called Triple A games as well as broaden my horizons with a multitude of games I simply never would have played if they weren’t on Game Pass. There have also been a number of games I am thrilled I didn’t waste my money on, Outriders and Crackdown 3 were huge disappointments and I didn’t pay a penny for them.
I mean, why p...
It’s a £1 ‘one time only’ buy in. The savvy among us topped it up with Xbox Gold and got GamePass for 3 years at £1. I would assume that when people’s subscription for a £1 runs out, quite a few will then renew based on the strength of the product, and they will claw the money back. I’m more than likely to renew at the higher cost because I have saved far more buy not buying many new games due to the support of Game Pass.
And I’ve worked in retail long enough to know t...
As if that was the only issue with co-op...
You couldn't even play the same campaign together, so disappointed with that.
Thought that title was just a really blunt way of saying that Microsoft/Sony execs have once again denied cross play for selfish reasons!
They need to update the massive connection issues they have with RDR more than anything. Persistent disconnects is a disgrace.
For the love of all things sensible, may they please have actual, non-tethered, shared base and progression co-op, otherwise this game will be a State Of Dismay.
I’m an Xbox fan, and I’m a GamePass fan.
I can tell you, the amount of garbage that is released every week on the normal store, never mind GamePass, is the real issue.
The games market is saturated, and there is so much copy-cat shovel ware it’s unbelievable. Games will live and die on their own merit, that is a fact.
Release quality, get sales. It doesn’t work the other way whether it’s on GamePass or not.
