Hahaha I can't watch a Trinity movie without wanting a half loaf of bread and a big bowl of chili or beans.

Pachter seems to dislike anything that's remotely western... remember Borderlands?

There's only damage on specific cars in the game (rally/nascar).

I agree with your comment on the loss of grip but the sound in this game is quite exaggerated. I've felt loss of grip with no tire squeal at all.

Non-simultaneous releases suck. Period.

I've always found GTA to be such a shallow experience. There's no choice of how you want to play. You have to be a criminal.
I find Red Dead Redemption to be much more interesting.

My point was supposed to be that it's impossible to have a completely perfect physics engine. I've played Forza 3 for quite some time and I've never encountered a situation like that.

I'm also looking forward to playing GT5, but I'm pretty sure it won't be perfect.

Right... because GT5's physics engine never glitches or behaves irrationally.

Tribes is probably still the FPS that I had the most fun playing. It's a shame that when they made Tribes 2 they seemed to forget what had made the original so fun.

I believe sak500 is referring to how poorly Xbox 360 fans handle poor review scores from Edge magazine. Like in this example:

When I was a kid the Atari joysticks would break and all you had to control the game was a white plastic thing that dug into your hands. Blisters, cuts, you name it and we had it. But we didn't end up in the hospital.
Then there was the Nintendo thumb. Same thing. I don't recall anyone going to the emergency ward.

Kids these days are whimps.

To whoever is disagreeing with us. Stop being butt-hurt. Here's the quote from wikipedia that I used for my information source.

"Originally slated for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, the game has since been scheduled for release in episodic form on Xbox Live,[3][4] with a PC & PlayStation 3[5] version planned for later release."

Makes sense.

Voting on rumors? If it's voted 'For Sure' does it mean it's true? Sounds like this site is run by fundies. :)

Hydrophobia is coming out on the PSN. Dontcha worry. It'll just take a bit more time.

5140d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Does this mean it's not going to be a video game? Because I've seen those before.

I hope this engine gets licensed a lot. If they can make games looking this good multiplatform things are going to be sweet. The first iteration always takes a while but Mr. Carmack's engines are always smooth.

It never fails. All the games that I want come out at the same time. It usually means that I pick up one of them at full price and the rest when they come down.
Unfortunately for Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption is coming out at the same time. So Alan's going to be my price drop purchase.

Are they going to force the player to act as an introvert? Is there a little meter that says, "I've had too much interaction with other people today, I need to unwind and process?"

Sony needs a way to sell their 3D TVs. So we get to wait forever for the game to come out so Sony can sell more than 7 TVs.
