This is what happens when big companies like EA and Activision begin to monopolize the industry. It's only going to get a lot worse. It's a shame to see Bioware slowly going the way of Westwood Studios. Remember how EA ran C & C into the ground?
I still have some faith in Bioware left, but I can't help but worry about Mass Effect 3. I'm sure it'll sell well, but I have the slight inclination that it is going to be far more linear than we'd expect....
Activision just keeps throwing gimmicks into COD in a feeble attempt to hide the fact that their engine has become stagnant and archaic in today's market. Address the real problem, and maybe you'll get your alienated fans back.

I was going to buy this game until they announced it for the 360. I had never bought a Final Fantasy before and my friends convinced me, but after realizing it was going to be dumbed down, I didn't want to spend 60 bucks on it. I have a 360 and PS3 and I can tell you that the lack of a Blu-Ray drive is slowly killing the 360. I still, however, loved Mass Effect 2 and am excited as hell for Halo: Reach and Fable 3
Did anyone here take the time to think that it is killzone 3? I doubt they'd put the big reveal on the cover, the image is unrelated and is probably a promo for an upcoming announced game.
I'm thinking its going to be KOTOR 3, i think that there are too many loose ends from the first two games that need to be tied up and they won't limit that experience to an MMO on the PC. They are going to bring KOTOR 3 to the consoles and finish off the trilogy. Another possibility is a sequel to Dragon Age, which is pushing it. Or quite possibly Mass Effect 3 (which I doubt will be announced at this years E3). I'm feeling either KOTOR 3 or an entirely new IP.
I fell to this problem. The instructions said to go to EA.com to register and then to redeem the code afterwards. I assumed it meant to redeem the code online, so when I did so, it gave me the "Normandy Crash Site" DLC. I put the game in and then entered the code for the Cerberus Network but it told me the code was already in use. The instructions were very unclear and were very vague. I am pissed off now.
I'm sorry but I started laughing my ass off after reading the first paragraph. Because I am a gamer, I am aware that there are fanboys, and that everyone has natural bias towards a console, but this guy is just taking it to a complete other level. I used to be an FPS fanatic, I would buy almost every FPS rated above an 8 and would play the hell out of them. I've definitely noticed the difference graphically lately. I bought my XBox 360 in 2007 (my warranty is almost done *cry*) and played the hell out of it for two years. I'm definitely disappointed with this news, after playing the inFamous demo I was sold on the game, bought it first day and have been playing the hell out of it since. I have been keeping an eye on this game for a while, but from the gameplay videos I've seen, I haven't been impressed. If you guys think this guy stepping down from Anonymous is going to do anything, your sadly mistaken. Trying to fight Anonymous is like trying to fight the war on terror.
