FF16 & RE4 data is for less days than Starfield, if they had done a like for like FF16 & RE4 would have outsold it.
Anew game is one you haven't played yet, so people who get a PS5 or a Switch for Christmas means all games are new for them. A new game is just something that releases in the last two months of the year, imo anyway.
Well you don't actually need an Xbox to play any of their games , so why would anyone recommend an Xbox over a PS5.
Apparently so, we are supposed to just ignore that they are going to be releasing on PC also, and just pretend they are exclusives when in fact they are multiplatform.
Sales always matter to them, unless they go against them so I expect them to talk about until they start getting outsold by PS5. Just like what happened between the PS4 and Xbox One.

Is it the same though? no one was complaining about Xbox having Cross gen games at launch, they where complaining the MS planned on doing it for a couple of years. So unless Sony say that they'll be having cross gen games for the first couple of years then it is not the same.

Wow your argument about Kinect doing better than Move is weak, PS Move sold well without being bundled with the console to increase it's sales. Kinect on the other hand was a failure when it was sold separately, so they had to bundle it in order for it to get the numbers they did.

I find this quite funny as during the Xbox360 days when it was beating the PS3 in the US, all Xbox fanboys did was brag about sales. So it's hypocritical to call out PS fanboys whilst ignoring Xbox fanboys doing the same thing.
MicroSofts biggest issue is we still have not seen anything running on their uber powerful console even they love to tout about it's power and ability. What they should have done is what Sony did and had everything shown captured directly from the Xbox Series X. But they didn't why are they so afraid to do that?

Yes if a Playstation game is available on another platform it's not an exclusive, PS fans have no problem saying that. They're not the ones calling games exclusive when thay are available on another platorm,PS has plenty of games which are true exclusives.
