Why put it on the Vita instead of 3DS if you're focussing on Japan? The 3DS is basically taking over Japan due to Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon.
I see a lot of cocky Sony drones, we'll see how this end.

Splinter Cell Black List, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, Watch Dogs, and Batman Arkham Origins are the main ones this fall. Also Rainbow Six Patriots has a high chance of coming over.

And so the Wii U indy developer initiative has begun.
They'e not dead, Wii U right now is going through what the 3DS did 2 years ago (horrible sales, lack of ads, no compelling software, no attention from the company, etc) and just like 3DS when 3D Mario, Zelda, and Mario Kart come out sales will sky rocket. The price is just right in my opinion, that's why I excluded price drop.

Retro Studios was pulled last year. It's given their Metroid/ Star Fox/ New IP will be shown in 2 months or earlier via Nintendo Direct.
All of the main franchises have been confirmed for E3 (Mario, Zelda, Retro Studios, Xeno, Smash Bros, Mario Kart, etc).
What about 3DS?
