Then all the nintendo franchises that sony took in the PS1 era can come home. Metal gear, FF and the rest. nintendo would be an unstoppable jugganaught with nintendo first party and sony 3rd party games in its stable.

COD3 waolid but not fantastic. i dont see PS3 fans hating on kill zone 2 because 1 was mediocre? cod5 has every chance to be a great game in its own right.

In Australia at least i have noticed this to be partially true drakes fortune sells for $109.99 at game and you could buy halo 3 or mass effect for $79.

EA is the biggest game publisher out there, who develop alot of "mainstream games". Mainstream games are what sells consoles to the masses and if word gets out that the PS3 versions are inferior it can only harm the PS brand.
If the games are so crap why doesn't sony refuse to allow them on their platform?

In the gameplay demonstrations and preview builds the demo-er was getting knocked on his ass every 30 seconds by dinos. it looked like it would get annoying quick.
It didnt grab me although maybe thats because i was engrossed in WoW at the time. it does take a LONG time to get a decent ship though and the game can play itself to a degree.
you can leave your ship mining or researching new stuff when your not playing the game and come back and have it completed which although good for those who don't have the time to devote to MMOS it detracted from the gamplay IMO.
Yeah games for windows isnt pushing the pc platform but steam? steam is the future of both consoles and PC. Steam got me the orange box for $45 US ($50 AU) when it cost $99.99 AU in stores. steam has its own XMB to chat to your friends and see what server they are on and steam has its has the best server browser ive seen in PC gaming.
Just caus the NPD or whoever you follow doesnt track PC online sales doesnt mean PC gaming is dying either. Long live PC gaming, Long live Valve ...
Your off the cuff comments and console bias really shows here. Back in the day of 40 man raids, on vent with your guild trying to down a boss for the first time on your server is a feeling you will never get from MGS4, Alan wake or mario galaxy.
I can remember my first rag and nef and cthun kills like it was yesterday. the cheer that you hear on vent when your hours of attempts and preparation bear fruit is amazing.

What makes you think nintendo fans love sony. Sony stole lots of great SNES franchises during the n64 era and the Fanboy war was raged just as bright as the ps3 vs 360 one does now. Gaystation was a phrase invented during the PS1 era by ninty fan.
Metal gear, Final fantasy tonnes of Big name PS games where born on Nintendo consoles. don't forget that.
theres no way the PS3 is gonna outsell the 360 which could be got as low as $449 over xmas or even $99 for a trade in at game.
The PS3 will need to drop below $500 AU to get near the 360s sales strong 08 line up or not.
Desert combat was the best mod i have ever played of any engine. it breathed new life to 1942 and made bf2 feel hollow in comparison.
i have BIG hopes for this games MP, but like they said i hope the sort vehicle controls out. in the the sp demo the drone was undrivable
