I just want them to get matchmaking right once and for all. So many awesome modes are in GTA Online, but most of the time games are only 4-5 players, if that, because it can't find anyone to join. I hope that they can find a way to populate game lobbies better this time around.
I am thankful that I have a job that allows me to invest in my favorite hobby: video gaming.
@Far If by "a lot" you mean Bungie then you would be correct.
Same here, no way am I visiting that site.
400+ hours is great. I love the feeling of going back to a game time and time again and discovering something new. I don't want to do everything in 50 or 60 hours and then never come back to it again because it'd be redundant. 400+ hour games are very rare nowadays and as a gamer you want your money's worth. If a developer wants to cram as much into their game as possible I applaud them.
Thanks for the contest, good luck everyone!
This game looks awesome. Didn't get a chance to play yesterday but will be downloading tonight for some hot, super sonic car action.
Styx is a fantastic game on PC, hopefully in transfers well to consoles. It's brutal and completely stealth-driven. It gives you a ton of different ways to tackle assignments.
That's the thing that pisses me off. Each expansion tries to expand on the "story" but everyone just rushes through them as quickly as possible so they can get to the content that matters.
A lot of us were expecting a raid in HoW, but instead we get two three-person fire team activities. One of those activities, PoE, is more of the same enemies thrown at you in a survival mode that gets repetitive. The other is a reskinned Skirmish mode that we already had in th...
@elazz CD Projekt RED is both publisher and developer. They own GoG.com and any digital copy sold through there is 100% profit (server costs obviously still a factor, albeit negligible). The only cut into their profits is the middle-man when selling physical copies of the game.
Most of us have already beaten all games several times over. $60 for updated graphics without all the functionality they originally had is a little steep when I still have all copies sitting on my shelf next to my PS3. Kudos for ND for doing this for fans, but even The Last of Us Remastered had multiplayer. The least they could've done is at least had U3's multiplayer ported to the next generation.
Absolutely perfect, I've been waiting for some good deals on Europa Universalis IV and Crusader Kings II. The Paradox Humble Bundle is an amazing value.
Bethesda led the charge for paid mods (and as a byproduct, the awful 25/75 split favoring Steam and the developers). They're not as innocent as you would think.
Mod creation has always been a hobby built around the passion to create awesome things that the community will love. When you monetize it you take the passion out and all of a sudden the community is filled with half-assed abandoned projects that are glitchy and break with the installation of other mods. There's no guarantee a publisher will keep their mod up-to-date. In fact, the fishing mod that was highlighted wasn't even finished yet, it was considered "early access." It...
My god, the speculation... this article is click-bait. They're basing it on one hire and even say, "Should you be concerned that a Bungie staff member has departed their studios and move on to join Bethesda Softworks? Well probably not."
Wait until the game is officially announced before you go to Bethesda with pitchforks and torches.
Yeah, definitely with you there. I know a lot of people say "Single player forever!!!" but there's no reason (well, maybe budget and schedule reasons) you shouldn't have a co-op mode to enjoy the sandbox with someone else. My friends and I have dreamed of playing the Just Cause universe together and we were hoping we could do that with JC3.
Single player is great, but the Just Cause universe is meant for multiplayer chaos. I've dreamed of playing Just Cause with my friends on a console and I thought Just Cause 3 would allow us to do that. I understand that some people don't care and just want a sandbox to play in, but man... think of the possibilities they could do with multiplayer. *sigh*
I agree. In my opinion multiplayer offers more replay value which gives a game a longer lifespan. Destiny is pretty much online only and there are millions of people with hundreds of hours poured into the game. Warhawk was one of the best games on PS3. Online only games do, however, appeal to those who like those types of games so if it's not your cup of tea you're not going to miss it. It's just like someone not playing a horror game because they don't like horror games.
Blasphemy.
PlayStation 1 is my favorite system of all time for sure. Most of my fondest gaming memories started with that system: Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, Tekken 3, Soul Calibur, Tomb Raider, Twisted Metal 2... I still play Twisted Metal 2 to this day.
