As it isn't the STANDARD way of controlling the majority of developers will continue to program for the DS3. Those that DO program for the Motus MAY bring new customers into the PS3 fold. That is good for all PS3 owners as more consoles means more overall support.
It really wouldn't affect your gaming on the PS3 negatively AT ALL.

The CURRENT PS3 uses these chips already.
512Mb = 64 MB and SONY uses 4 of them for 256MB of XDR Ram.
This is not a new 512MB module...is is a new manufacturer of the existing 512Mb chips (4 of which make a module).
...but after you invest in the ecosystem will they drop it and move on just like they did with Plays for sure and Xbox? I don't trust Microsoft to support these niche products long enough to justify an investment.
