Definitly # 2 - The game has gone gold.
I haven't seen it yet, I'll download it tonight. I'm a visual nut, I'd sacrifice 60 fps for 24 with amazing graphics, however I do understand that graphics are what pull you in and immerse you in the game but shortly after it's game play that gets your money's worth. GoW had the visuals to suck you in, and had excellent game play. I pickup GoW just for the graphics and wander around some times, and other times I play the game for some action... To me, your it it for one or the other, because...
I would prefer they dropped the 4 cardboard cutout (red shirt, blue shirt, yellow shirt, female green shirt) they copy/paste all over the board, it completely destroys the visual scenery of this already graphically weak game.
What happened to the good ol' days of links386, I think 8 year old graphics with the real video capture are better then this. Didn't microsoft buy them 5 years ago? What happened there?
this is the worst looking graphics I've seen in 5 years of any game on any console. is this for a nintendo DS? certainly that's not for the 360...

The xbox shots are better overall, it seems the lighting on the PS3 is a little better on close objects, giving it a little more detail through lighting. While the xbox is easily noticeable how much better it is handling objects in the distance. Look at the water bottles and other small objects, the 360 is smoking the PS3 in AA quality.
Overall lighting I'd prefer a mix of both, crispness of PS3 in certain area's while darker parts of image smooth things out in the area's atte...
Why should MS (or anyone) be responsible for consumer stupidity. Turning your 360 while the CD is running is going to damage the CD and possibly the drive. it's the same for all drives except laptop drives which have the retainers... but I bet it's more then turning the unit, I bet they knocked it over while it was running.
I was so looking forward to this headseat, major dissappointment, requires line-of-sight. signal is too weak to go through a cabinet door where my 360 is located 10 feet away. even if I bring it to within 5 feet of the console it doesn't work, must have direct line of sight.
The demo was good, after the demo ends/you quite it has a video of some of the gameplay... looks interesting for a FPS. personally I've become blah on the FPS... they are all too similar in design and content.. GoW was at least something new as far as view and control system while blowing you away with pure next gen graphics.
