actually the ps3 did cloud computing from the get go. it was called folding@home. all you need is the right software to run between to pieces of hardware to do it but as MC stated it really wouldnt be useful for gaming as much as for the folding@home system. i wouldnt think so anyway but imho i would rather have my hardware buffed before i would want to depend on the internet for my game proformance
Obviously its gonna be a xbox/ps online battle arena. Bring your own flamewear.
@Peaceful_Jelly BINGO! "Because now games take more time and money to make"
People this gen (and i mean the real life generation of "GOT TO HAVE IT FAST AND GOT TO HAVE IT NOW") dont understand that in the time it takes to make a game for the ps3/360 you could make a few ps2 games and a ton of ps1 games. For some reason they are thinking that the ps3 library is small because noone is making those games.
"WE"? I hope you have a mouse in your pocket cause i willing to bet you dont work for nintendo.
but what if microsoft make a drag racing game, then it would work. just need to pull the chute, right?
for the wiiu to match ps3/x360 frame rates and resolution its gonna need a processor with power. cpu power = heat. the heat will need fan(s) and heatsink(s) to cool down cpu. So if nintendo does try to match the other 2 systems its not gonna be coming from that little white box seen in the e3 demo.
Hes not trolling, that exactly what i saw on g4tv today :)
@darkpower
"But how many times are we going to just give them free passes before we get tired of waiting?"
I guess the answer is: as long as they give you FREE psn, child.
Gaming journalism is pure garbage just as is most news stations on tv. All news stories/articles look to get a negitive slant out of any information. And imo it wont change because that negitivity is what draws peoples attention over anything positive.
As a side thought, I would like to see this site change the way you disagree to someone by making them have to sign in to click that disagree and then have a link to who did disagree.
Why are you in a hurry to read "Help! The hackers stoled my information and updated my ps3 with firmware 3.61 and now its bricked!" articles?
;)
IN YOUR OPINION!
I saw nothing on this until this morning (EST) on another site, I looked back a few pages but saw nothing on SOE incident so i apologize for contradicting IPUMPMYGUN. Sorry go on pumping :)
I dont know why so many are vocally negative against ea madden. Every year there is enough improvement over the prior year IN MY OPINION to get me to buy a copy. But if there wasnt i would simply not buy it. If i had positive ideas on how to improve the game IN MY OPINION i would head over to ea's forums and pass them on, at the very least post them here. But to just come to each and every thread with the same ole' madden bashing is just a needless waste thread space.IN MY OPINION. ...
this is not the psn if your thinking that, this is SOE which is ran separately. They also have been hacked/attacked. if your not refering to this as another psn has been hacked article then i apologize. This is new news as of may 2nd.
:)
I got an email from Disney...yeah Disney that my information was stolen from there servers and all i got was that one email saying that I will probably be getting a lot of spam, no apoligy, only a regret that this happened. It may not be as big as sony but is the exactly the same situation. But at least Sony has tried to fix the situation, apoligized and offered the gaming community gifts. Disney did nothing!
330+ million users are too computer illiterate to change the presetup home page on a prepackaged computer they bought.
will rock. You heard it here first.
wouldnt come to N4G.com, they would have already blown the money on games and be broke thus coming here to find out how to spend the next wad. :)
my 3D0 system i spend $600 on was such a good game plan that worked out great for me, less than a year of games before it went belly up. Now heres a guy with good game planning skills!
Be honest, you didnt even have that stain until you went through the deli did you....?
