Yeah.. I can attest to that. In GT7 It's particularly noticeable in one make races. Most cpu opponents would be naturally aspirated, some might be super charged or turbo charged. But when it comes to the muffler notes themselves, they're as distinct as they are varied.

In the interest of complying with the rules and regulations of multiple countries around the world, Sony would have to ship the hot swappable bdxl drive, un-activated. You'd probably have to activate the disc version for the same reason.
I doubt Sony wants to pay completely unavoidable recurring leagal fee's. The Playstation 3 4 & 5 aren't region free dvd/bluray players for a reason, you know.

There might be something of a grace period, simular to how you can change a ps4's dvd region up to five times. Don't quote me on it, but, I belive you have to activate and deactivate the drive each time. So.. Sony is likely to go with three tries before it's permanently married to a single console.

It might have to do with dvd and bluray region encoding. The drive itself, is likely a universal sku, which would make the use and operation of the drive in multiple countries as simple as locking it down to a single console.
Don't forget there are rules, standards and laws that Sony has to comply with, especially if they don't want to be dinged with fines.

Well.. I think one of the reasons it needs to go online, is partly due to bluray video framework. There were times on the PS3 were a brand new bluray movie would not play unless you updated the firmware. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a stand alone bluray player without wifi or an ethernet port, even the cheapo brands that walmart sells. My guess is that the psvr2 is rendering 60fps for each eye, which when rendered together from the ps5, is more or less 120fps.
For the game to run natively at 120fps with the psvr2, the ps5 would essentially have to render at 240fps

Are you.. are you guys kidding me. Somehow.. you lot of people think the psvr2 is selling poorly because it's projected to have only sold more than a quarter million as a pre-order. If I could walk right in a bestbuy walmart or gamestop and buy right there and then, I'd of done so already.

There's this odd thing in the EU, where a game has to support multiple languages. It's the same with
God of War Ragnarok. My guess is that Iron Galaxy Studios, decided to go with a single international sku.

It's nice seeing the prices go down. I can't wait till 4tb NVMe with comparable speeds become more mainstream. Ahh.. it's so nostalgic, reminds me of good o'l the PS3 days, were 2.5 hdd's just kept growing larger and cheaper by the year.

Let's not forget about the move controllers, the devices used to interact in vr. While the layout was effective on the PS3 with games like house of the dead. The lack of a dedicated analog stick made it difficult to implement in traditional games without the seperate navi controller, the one with the actual analog stick. Killzone 3 players know what I'm talking about.
When the move controllers were announced they'd be adopted for psvr, I had always thought sony ...

I give it about another year before cross gen games come to an end.
Meanwhile today, September 9 2021, at Walmart Target Bestbuy Gamestop Amazon, you can't find one at msrp short of having the devil's luck while aping a restock app.
All those ps5 five games, returnal demon souls and all the other next gen exclusive games that I can't play on my PS4, alot of people will conclude.. f*** it, why bother, it's not like I'm going get one an...
Unfortunately, it's going to continue for a while. So long as PS5's remain hard to come by at retail prices, cross gen games will live on.

How would it fit? With the left analog offset, it takes up more space internally, leaving less room for a more robust impulse trigger or rumble setup without making the whole thing bulkier.
