Since when did reviewers have to start defending their reviews? If they accurately site what issues they had with the game in the original review, then it is a completely legit review. This mob fanboy mentality, rallying against anyone that disagrees with your perception of a game, is completely ridiculous. Of course EA wants this so they can complete their stranglehold on the industry. Without any competition they can just assure themselves the console dictator and then focus all their efforts on what they really want-universal domination.
If they iron out some of the control issues from the other games, then this game is going to give Halo a run for it's money. Ok, maybe not a run for it's money ($300 mil?!?!), but for the hearts and minds of FPS fans, or at least this FPS fan.
