Human Smoke is a playable character in Mortal Kombat (2011). Shao Kahn, Goro, and Kintaro all included as bosses. Motaro is even mentioned in passing (Raiden supermans him through a floor in a cutscene).

You want the 2011 Mortal Kombat game that was released for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Vita. All the original characters and no filler. It's basically an HD version of Trilogy.

I can't believe NetherRealm killed off practically everybody. It was a bloodbath. I bet Kiefer is playing an entirely new character.

fr0sty: "It is estimated every American commits about 3 felonies per day unknowingly"

There is no possible way that's accurate. Look at this list of felonies:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...

Do you perform at least three of those acts per day?

You're aware that the page you linked to lists the game as "PlayStation Move Required," right?

"the numbers presented show a normal sales curve for a new console."

You're wrong arbitor365. While "sales curve" was probably not the best phrase to use, your own link shows the Wii U handily selling more total consoles than the PS3 during their respective first five months of life.

Week-to-week, the PS3 is more impressive. But the Wii U's sales totals absolutely are normal for a new console.

>> Um weren't 360 games at launch $60? <<

Actually, they weren't. MS-published 360 games like Kameo and Perfect Dark retailed for $49.99. Third party publishers charged $59.99 and then a year or so later MS used the "rising development costs" excuse to jack up first party games to $59.99.

But anyway, I agree with those who say that the only people complaining about high game prices didn't pay $80 for a Street Fighter II cartr...

It's Gronk's to lose in my opinion.

Maybe I'm just an idiot, but isn't every Zelda game a "reboot." Direct sequels are rare and each game tries something radically different from all the games that came before.

Two things...

1) The ICHEG is connected to the larger Strong Museum of Play. The $13 admission fee is good for all parts of the Strong complex and goes towards a lot more than just the game museum.

2) For some reason, the ICHEG isn't too interested in volunteers (I asked once). But the amount of games/hardware they have access to is huge. Cataloging and testing it all will require a lot more money than just this small grant. It helps, nothing more, nothin...

The Fact Sheet that came with the press release listed a March 6, 2012 release date for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Vita versions.

But few sites score games on a scale of 10. Most of them use a 100-point scale, which is much more useless than a 5-point scale.

What's wrong with a five-point scale?

I'm pretty sure the score above says "3/5"

Thinking about it some more, it's very clear that Stewart either didn't read the SCOTUS' opinion or chose to ignore it.

Justice Scalia used his majority opinion to point out that every time a new entertainment format arises, a bunch of morons yell "Won't someone think of the children!" It happened with dimestore novels (the original "pulp fiction"), movies, TV, comic books, rock music and now video games. Scalia rightly determined that vi...

I understand Stewart's point, he's just wrong. Pornography is considered "obscene" and subject to greater legal scrutiny because those people are actually having sex on camera. But a female military officer named Sonya Blade was never actually torn in half by the ghost of a man named Sub-Zero that now calls itself Noob Saibot.

And I never watch Fox News

Tanya didn't make her first appearance until MK4 and Rain first debuted in the console versions of UMK3/Mortal Kombat Trilogy.
