I'm not saying the best games are multiplatform. I argued that the top sellers were multiplatform and not just on the 360 or PS3 together but individually compared to the respective console exclusives. My point was that games today are more communal. You play games in 2009 with friends or family online as opposed to the old school everyone in my living room play. That maybe the case in an initial launch of a console but your taking 3 years in and most "real gamers" have already decided which system they want. Now your looking to more casual gamers who really are not as interested in first party games. I just don't see first party games moving units like it used to. We're talking different times here. Most people will buy the system all their friends are playing. Not just because of an exclusive here or there. That's just my opinion.

Outside of hanging around a virtual reality home. What are your supposed to do? watch movies, listen to music, play games with an avatar? Why not just connect with a simple request without all the virtual walking to a movie theater, or your stereo receiver, or a game room? Sony "announcing" sales are going well is like a modern day bank announcing everything is OK. Yet were giving billions in tax payer money to them. I guess what I'm saying is that all companies lie to make themselves look better than things are. You would think with all the financial turmoil going one you would know that. I'm stating facts. Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking on this site. Use Google once and you'll see it's SONY not Microsoft that has issues. I personally think the title of this article is stupid due to that fact SONY couldn't retaliate even if they wanted to. The company is hemorrhaging money and no one here seems to care.
