I guess we'll find out soon enough, the chatpads should be on shelves soon.
Yeah, there are so many gaming events happening in Canada now that I decided to start the website NextGen Player. There's tons going on including:
- Montreal International Game Summit
- Vancouver International Game Summit
- GDC Canada
- The Elans
- Festival Arcadia
- Fan Expo
+ tons more!
There are 5 Kratos in-game give-aways in total.
I have a direct contact at Future Shop that informed me of the cancellation. I didn't take this story from the Canoe blog.
This game is so addicting, I just hope the servers get up and running soon. I want to start sharing my creations online.
It's been nearly two weeks since the boy left home, it's really quite tragic. The story is all over the news in Canada. We're all hoping for a safe return home.
It's actually not that common in Canada for stores to open up at midnight. The only games this year that this happen for was GTA IV and Metal Gear Solid 4. Usually when there is a midnight launch it's a huge event.
I checked with a local EB Games store and the rep told me this deal is for any version of the game. (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2)
That's an awful lot of bricked Xbox 360's. I wish this was an isolated case, but I've read dozens of similar stories. I guess the problems still aren't fixed.
There has been a number of Xbox deals circulating the stores lately. I can't believe how cheap the system is now.
Best Buy Canada always has amazing door crasher deals. I wonder how quickly their Xbox 360 20GB stock will deplete.
I share your concern. I contacted the NPD Group to ask why they don't share numbers and they told me I had to buy the data. Apparently they don't give out Canadian figures for free.
Very true, and well said. Bubbles for you!
I haven't heard about this deal hitting America. I had a look at the EBGames.com website and I couldn't find this promotion on there. EB Games Canada had a similar promotion earlier this year for Haze that also was not offered in the US. I think these 'Gaming Guarantee' offers are Canada-only unfortunately.
There's a few hot spots at some of the coffee shops near where I work. So you're saying I can bring my DS and use my stylus to Twitter? Sweet! Much better than keying in Twitter updates on my non-QWERTY cell phone.
As much as I like to complain about EB Games usual low buy-back price, high margin, used game business, this particular deal is pretty good. No questions asked 7 day full in-store credit seems too good to be true.
That's harsh, I'm Canadian. Why the negativity?
I was surprised to hear it's over 40. Last time this survey was done the average age of a Canadian gamer was 33.
Geez, why so much unnecessary hate? The article is very clearly marked as an opinion piece, so it shouldn't be construed as fact. Achievements and Trophies are both amazing reward systems and each have their own unique advantages - I thought it would be interesting to discuss their pros and cons. I'm very shocked that you accuse me of writing simply to get Google ad revenue (there aren't even any Google ads on the page). That really couldn't be further from the truth. NextGen Player was c...
You think the cell isn't powerful enough to power external wireless devices? Don't doubt the power of cell man, just yesterday it powered my toaster that was 30 feet away and made me a peanut and butter sandwhich. Yeah I know, unbelievable (but true).
