Console gamers missing out. Good.

That's true, thankfully those problems haven't been part of PC gaming in a long time.
Stop paying for online and 30fps games.

You bought a 600€ console, then paid 70€ for 30fps games, and hundreds of dollars to play online, and now you are going to buy a 5% stronger console for another 600€. All of this while all the PS5 games come to PC.
Just because you are scared of completely nonexistent problems which haven't been part of PC gaming in a long time.

If Elden Ring was an exclusive game it would be the exact same game it is right now. Exclusivity has nothing to do with a game's quality other than it's almost guaranteed to run at a stable frame rate.

Much less common than it was 10 years ago...

It's kinda funny how the issues are basically the PC version being equal to the console versions at some fields like 30fps.

Nice. Every game should aim for 60fps on consoles. Fuck 4K.

Thank god all these PS5 games have a 60fps mode. I think they should run at that by default, but this is good nonetheless.

Why would you want that small graphical increase when you can't even turn the camera without everything being blurred to hell due to the amount of stuttering 30fps causes?

"PS5's 120FPS"
"plans to use PS5's up to 120 FPS frame rate"

The game can be 300fps on PS5 if the developer gets it running at those frame rates.

How hard is it to get? Low frame rate doesn't work for games. It works for movies because you don't interact with the movies. In games you control a character. Turning the camera at 30fps for example doesn't FEEL GOOD. Because the low frame rate is choppy, laggy, and stuttery.

The fact that you unironically say "sometimes it legitimately does make things look more cinematic" just proves that you don't know how difference in frame rates in games fee...

"I just want to PLAY video GAMES"
Buy a PC then instead of playing on limited closed boxes.

Extremely disappointed in the Xbox devs right now. And I've been a Xbox guy my whole life.

1391d ago 15 agree0 disagreeView comment

PSnow is a garbage streaming service. It doesn't have more or better games. I've played all the Xbox/PC exclusives and they have all been good. If you base your opinion of games on critic scores of 20 random people then you don't even like playing games.

Developers saying stupid shit and lying to your face using the laughable "cinematic 30fps" bullshit is "right up your alley"?

1391d ago 8 agree11 disagreeView comment

Why don't they just say it runs at 30 because they'd rather get better graphics out of it than higher framerates? Going with the whole "cinematic experience" thing just leads me to think that either the developers are idiots or they think I'm an idiot, neither of which is positive for them.

I mean if they're really going for the cinematic experience they might as well just go straight to 24 fps.

I'm serious. I was happy to hear Xbox making a big deal out of high frame rates as they should, and now they pull this shit.

It's not the end of the world, that is correct. But that's because even if they decided to go full no brain and lock the frame rate on PC, people would find a way to unlock it as they have done before.

It's just extremely disappointing to hear a developer say something this absurdly stupid. It's a straight up fuc...

Phil. Xbox. Stop. Tell your devs to not be this stupid.

The input latency, the stuttery feel, the choppiness that comes with running a game at 30 fps has made a lot of games completely unplayable for me on console, I can understand being okay with it if you've never had anything better to compare it with, but why settle for 30 fps when I've got a 165hz 1440p monitor and a 240hz 1080p monitor? High refresh rates make every game look and feel better. Gaming is an inte...

Game Pass is the greatest value in gaming and I'm happy that I can use it on PC. I haven't bought a single game since subscribing to Game Pass 4 months ago.
