If you switched the names of the coferences around Microsoft would have gotten blasted for showing so many video montages, and actual tv commercials...who does that??? The games that Sony did show looked impressive, Killzone 3, LittleBig, Twisted Metal...but we get a date for GT and no live gameplay shown. Move games looked like higher graphical fidelty of Wii games which is a good thing. But I still can't see how people are giving the Edge to Sony. If I had to score it, I would say Nin...
After being in the beta I can comfortably recommend this game to anyone. It's just crazy fun.
...bannings for dropping out of games. The one thing I hate the most is losing 3 teammates to be left alone against 4 opponents.
Now if that's breathing down someone's neck, they must have taking the persona of the big bad wolf trying to blow down the pig's brick house. It's good to see both companies selling well but an 8 million gap is only going to be passed if Microsoft just stops selling 360s and Sony sell's PS3s for 10yrs...but then what will be point? lol
4 player co-op class based spartans, then it's gonna be a good time with friends. I hope that Bungie take some notes from other shooters that's been in the market and push customisation which would make for a fun time as well. Halo Reach FTW!!! Come on Beta!!
Yeah I was in the same boat with you..I perfered the Art design of Halo 3 over a lot of games that was coming out that year and the year before with the idea that nex-gen graphics are all brown-ish mud looking graphics, I found the colorful vibrant world to be refreshing. I do hope that there's is more of that with Reach and the lighting has always been Bungie's forte..but I'll wait to see it in action to know if it's up to par. Right now Remedy seems to be really pushing some impressive lig...
..are always difficult to judge because it's a rescan of an image which lessons the quality of the original. That being said it looks to be what most people are gonna want from the Halo series, and hopefully the beta will not only give us a taste of what to expect but also help Bungie really tighten the control and flow of the gameplay. All in all, looks to be another solid addition to a great franchise.

...that while MW2 was indeed a good boost for the 360, but also that L4D2 and AC2 also posted well for the 360 which I'm sure attributed to the good november sales as well. And when you look at the ps3 I'm sure Sony isn't mad at how it's doing at all. Price cut made it competitive and putting it around UC2 and the holiday was a perfect storm. This generation has been a great generation for gamers period. It's probably the best yet. So everyone have a happy holiday and play hard.
I will have to concur on your statement. Saint's Row 2 was extremely and still is extremely fun and humorous. I'll back you up and say that it will be hard for me to purchase another GTA game if I know that Volition will continue to make Saint's Row titles.
Please don't every stop Volition...more Saint's Row please.
...that I like this expansion of the series, and that more games should follow suit. Remember back in the day when Nintendo had a brand of saturday morning cartoons based off of some of there game characters? It's good to see that they're trying to broaden the awareness past the video games.
I agree with you on all of those assesments. I think that the tech from both companies has a ways to go in terms of not only development but also in terms of what they're partnerships can do with the tech once it's finalized. That's key. I hope that what comes forth is truly deep engaging game experiences that uses this tech the way I had hoped to see from the wii, also I would like to see some casual games that's not just a dumbed down version of a cash in party game. Even if the phrase "console exclusive" wasn't used, does that not mean it's exclusive to xbox as a game console?? Anytime any of the console makers invest more to produce better products for said console then it's a win win. Win for them and us as gamers...the great and powerfull Kid has spoken. :)
