I can't wait for this game and just don't understand the generally poor regard this game gets ( just read some of the other posts ). I really enjoyed the first one and this looks so much better than that.
....wouldn't have happened on the 360 version ;>)
They look pretty similiar to me apart from the slight difference in brightness but what happened to the damage on the ps3 version? where is it? maybe they had it turned off?
£20 for a game that I can never sell when I don't play it anymore and I can get brand new delivered from play.com for between £8 and £12? of course I'm going to buy it.........alongside my 400 pts lightsaber!!
Vote with your brains/wallets guys or they'll continue to see what else they can get away with.
I have it on 360 and while I'm really enjoying it I expected it to be bigger. I've only played about 2 1/2 hours and have 1 billboard , 8 smashes and 1 jump left to find. I've done the 10 new challenges and a few events. I still recommend it but don't expect it to be anywhere near the size of the original. 8/10.
How much is that in real money? i.e. Microsoft points?
It doesn't make any sense to buy the download version, the retail version will undoubtedly get discounted in the online stores that I use like gameplay or shopto.net, will probably go for £12.99 or £13.99 which makes it cheaper than 1600pts.
Which makes me even more mad that infinity ward only released 1 map pack for cod 4!!.
Maybe. I would love to see a graph of sales of Loderunner last week when the price went up from 800 to 1200 pts. Of course MS would never release such data. I was one of the lucky ones who got it for 800 otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. I also think MS made a huge mistake going with points instead of real money, 1200 pts just sounds SO much even if it isn't, thats's ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED POINTS!!!. Its a mental thing.
I like to buy new just released games, finish them and sell them fairly quickly on ebay( unless there is good multiplayer ) with hardly any lost money. You are stuck with xbla games, the total cost lost even if you never ever go back to it. Therefore games have to be 800 pts or less for me to part with the pts to minimise loss. I don't think I've bought 1 game above 800 pts, I'd have bought R-Type if it was 800 but no, they had to be greedy. That game was in the top 10 for 1 week only at 6th ...
I can't wait for this but I shudder at the thought of what they may charge for it. Looking at how overpriced the car packs were I wouldn't expect them to charge less than 1600 ms pts for this, maybe even more.
Well I just hope they support the game longer this time, I sold my copy of COD 4 months ago when I realised there would be no more maps released. IW really missed the boat there as far as I'm concerned. I can't play the same game over and over for ever without new content like some people do.
Great, I finally get to spend some points, I've had 3000 pts burning a hole in my pocket for weeks now due to recent releases being blatantly overpriced. Well done MS for finally seeing sense.
Black was comepletely awesome and I nearly cried when I realised there was no multiplayer...what a waste!. Lets hope they add multiplayer this time if indeed it is in developement.
This has been denied by major nelson.
too expensive. I rent mine as I'm not a collector with hundreds if not thousands of pounds worth of films sat on a shelf gathering dust never to be played again.
No! up till now I've played all the C.O.D games on veteran and they've been impossibly hard but I've got there, but I'm not getting anywhere on COD5 on Veteran. You see I've reached the ripe old age of 43 and the thumbs aren't what they used to be, I still do pretty well online but I haven't got the stomach for Veteran difficulty anymore, replaying some of the harder sections upto 100 times takes way more time than I'm willing to put in nowadays so no, I do not want games to get harder!
just cause and dark sector were great.
....thats what peggle is? whats all the fuss about?
Hope its more upbeat than odst music, that was really depressing!
