This is pretty close to blasphemy.
It's obvious from the review that they haven't played any previous Metal Gear games. The cutscenes ARE long, we all know this, so quit complaining about them. Kojima did a very nice job on finishing up the story through all the cutscenes. If you are a fan of the franchise and Metal Gear's story line, then the cutscenes are far from being "boring" and "long winded" as they described them. I would have liked to see some more ga...
AAAAAARRRGGHHH!!! NINE THOUSAND!!
Me either! I don't own a 360 or a high performance PC, so I'm glad it's getting ported.
I just got Oblivion GotY on Friday and haven't beaten the main quest line. (haven't even started the main one yet lol) I won't watch this until I finish it since it would probably be a big spoiler. So, I guess he just took advantage of a glitch or something?
It's obviously fanboyism at work; this is the wrong place for it.
Well... I'd much rather play as Darth Vader than Yoda.
I for one, think that their site is worthless. Read some of their game reviews, they can't even write a single one of them without berating it for lacking bad ass lesbian characters in it.
I know what you mean, man. The biggest thing people are concerned about these days is graphics. They don't care if the game is complete crap, as long as it has the latest and greatest graphics. Most game developers are starting to respond for that demand too, they make mediocre games but give them decent graphics... It's all just about making a quick buck nowadays. *tear*
You can never have too much jiggly bewbs, the more the better!
Comparing two completely different games is stupid. Both of them are going to be good, so people should quit being fanboys and just enjoy them both.
I think this movie is going to turn out to be all right. At least this one actually has something to do with the games. All three of those ones with Jovovich in them were COMPLETE CRAP!
Business wise, it isn't a bad idea to invest in the Wii. You may not like the Wii, but Nintendo has sold a lot of them. A whole lot. I personally don't like the Wii, but a lot of older people and casual gamers like it, hence the big sales.
I don't really want them to remake it because they will probably ruin it. The only way I would want them to remake FFVII is if they left EVERYTHING the same, just change the graphics. We all know that them leaving everything the same probably wouldn't happen. I bet there would be some dialog change and cutscene changes that would disgrace the original.
I wish they would have done something like this when I bought my PS3 about four weeks ago. I'm still happy about this though because it could help Sony out a lot by introducing a big price drop.
It's a neat feature, but I could do without it.
I don't mind games getting delayed. I would much rather them delay a game I want so they can fine tune it and work out as many of the problems as they can instead of them rushing to release it as soon as possible, filled with glitches and all sorts of other problems. I know this isn't always the case, some delayed games still end up failing, but I think it's safe to say most of them don't.
@ mfwahwah
It's good to know that I'm not the only one that still thinks that these days. Graphics are really nice to have, but they don't matter much if the gameplay is complete crap.
I think it will be worth checking out, but it's not high up on my most wanted games list.
It looks great so far, but I wonder what you can use the experience points for?
Unless you're blind, I don't really see how you could deny that. KZ2 simply was the best looking game at E3.
I don't know if I want a remake or a sequel. If they remade FF7, I'm sure they would ruin it by changing the dialog and cutscenes. A sequel would probably give the original a bad name; look at X-2, not very good at all.
