Would you rather have a short bugged experience in terms of Fable 2 and Fallout 3 or wait some longer for a genuine solid game. I don't mind the wait, I am psyched about it as I am for White Knight Chronicles. Sure it takes time to report about them, but I know when it's released I'll be able to enjoy it to the fullest extent.

Sure it takes more time to be released than a few of the so-called AAA RPG's. But those bundles of joy, have bundles of bugs that make them less enjoyable. When is the last time a Final Fantasy came short of content or was flooded with bugs. It's a JRPG, it's polished and it's worth it. It takes more time, but it has more value for a buck than any WRPG on the market..

I am getting the only RPG on the list, Fallout 3. I have a 360 and I own an original xbox too. But the first Fable failed to impress. It's just an action game with RPG elements. It's scale and complexity (or lack of) can't be compared to other games of the genre. Fallout 3 is a hybrid, but atleast it incorperates tons of elements that makes a RPG what it is. I am getting it, together with Valkyria Chronicles. An easy choice, because I want to play a RPG. But if you prefer Fable, fair enough. ...

There is still a difference, a big difference. Plasma is vastly superior when it comes handling darker environments and that's what I like to see. In terms of quality it's better too, sure it's more expensive, but the price gap has decreased between LCD and Plasma.

It's sad to see people with retarded views (those proposing this measure in the article, I don't mean you), but let them live in the jungle for I all care...

MGS and FF are both good series. But if both will appeal to a Microsoft audience as they do to a Sony audience, that's a whole other story. Konami tried once releasing a MGS-title on the previous console of Microsoft, it was no real succes. The JRPG-titles on Microsoft's new console haven't been selling - so far - that great either.

Comments about the series stated above without any backbone is just immature. They are both great to a great mass of gamers and there are people w...

Casual gamers are the worst, they have the most preposterous complaints, a game is too hard if they die a few times, it's too long if isn't beaten within a week and etc... They even take their bag of tricks and ruin future games for the more dedicated gamer.

The innovations in JRPG's for instance, the genre has never been so easy. Easy healing, hoarding money and even a handful of optional bosses that mean something in terms of a fight, such a pity... Sure being carefree can be...

The only major title the X360 has seen so far is Gears of War and this for the users of XBlive Gold. Cause the single player campaign is severely lacking. The X360 has had some other "good" releases: Lost Planet, Forza 2, ... (NOTE! I am here talking about exclusives, although most summed above are getting ported or will be ported on PC or another console in the - near - future.)

In the meanwhile, the PS2 has seen following releases at the time of the X360: Final Fant...

The games are the most important thing that sells consoles, but price matters too. The XBOX is more expensive than a PS3 if you add all the extras. This is something that an average consumer looks past and that's a key in Microsoft's strategy. The more informed gamer does see this, but when it comes to consoles you have to fear fanboyism, that makes it less objective. A console is still way cheaper than a high end PC, but again these are things that only count for the more informed gamer. <...

1. WoW is a MMORPG, it has a lore that is based on Western culture and writings, but it's not a WRPG. Both WRPG and JRPG are single player only, with a few exceptions (Enchanted Arms offers a MP for instance).

2. At the moment, both Microsoft and Sony haven't got a single EXCELLENT WRPG exclusive, nor a JRPG for that matter. Microsoft is coming up with Mass Effect "ftw" (note! Bioshock is too much of a hybrid to be called a WRPG) and has Blue Dragon and Eternal Sonata...
