I'm a 17 year old student who is having a lot of trouble finding a job - no money to waste.

I use Firefox, Thunderbird, OpenOffice, The Gimp, Pidgin IM, VideoLAN, DVD Flick, Songbird, and more. I know you are right when you say that you could probably find an open source alternative to any proprietary software I like to use. Offhand, I can't even think of anything that isn't available on Linux. Although, whenever I install Linux, I always end up running into a problem where I nee...

Max Payne 2 was one of my favorite games of all time. I played most of the first one but never finished it for some reason....maybe I'll buy it on the marketplace as I have misplaced my original disc.

If it is better connectivity, wouldn't everyone just buy it? If everyone buy's it, then the connectivity probably wouldn't be that great anymore due to the massive amount of traffic.

You know nothing about me, so your assumptions are wrong. First off, I have no money to waste. If I buy Windows 7, it will be through someone else for a quarter of the retail price if even that. Secondly, out of all the Linux distros I tried (Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, Xubuntu, openSUSE, Mandriva, PCLinuxOS, etc.) I don't have just one specific reason why I don't like them. For the most part, it boils down to hardware compatibility issues (Example: I have a network adapter on my desktop computer...

Kind of reminds me of the "Condemned" games. The little evil kid thing looks naked though, they should probably fix that.

I highly doubt they would announce GTA V, when the 2nd DLC hasn't even been made available for GTA IV yet.

Linux is nice, but it is all about preference. For some reason, even though I've tried 10 or more Linux distributions, I always end up going back to Windows. Maybe in the future, if improvements (like faster boot times,) continue to progress, then perhaps I'll finally become a full time Linux user. Until then, I'm happy with my Windows 7 beta and am planning on purchasing it once the final product hits the shelves.

Well, we don't even know if this game is really going to be that awesome. It looks awesome, it has enough hype, but you can't guarantee anything before you play. Lastly, I'm too broke to afford a PS3. I can barely afford a game every month or two.

I'm a hardcore Firefox user, but I don't really look at what Microsoft is doing as a bad thing. Not because I think the browser is good, but because it is their OS and they should be entitled to have their browser pre-installed on their OS. If Ubuntu devoloped a browser made special for their OS, would you be mad?

Man I've got some series issues...time to get some therapy.

Most RPG's always start out a little slow. You need to give them some time and effort, level up your character. Once you are a higher level, the fun truly begins. I'm sorry you do not like Oblivion all that much, but I think you might enjoy Fallout 3...

I'm not too sure, it's not like everyone in the world has high speed internet. I mean, when I lived in Pennsylvania I was in an area where I could only get dial-up. I just checked, and dial-up internet is still the only thing available there. Another thing is that not everybody has a computer or pay for internet, a lot of gamers just have a console and a tv. I just think they would lose a lot of sales by killing off consoles.

If you think about the amount of people that still purchase Xbox Live subscriptions every single day, this amount is tiny and probably doesn't affect Microsoft in any way. It costs money to run Xbox Live, but nowhere near the amount they make each year from buyers.

I'm getting tired of comments like yours. I've seen several similar to yours today that could be classified as offensive to an American. This man had his console taken, he has the right to try to receive money for what was his. While I do believe the amount of money he is trying to get is preposterous, he still has that right. Lawsuits occur throughout the entire world, not just the United States.

Ironically, I sometimes get that problem when have the "Fasterfox" addon installed. If you have it, try disabling it. The browser should load faster again.

Sony should be very proud, the PS2 was quite a defining accomplishment. What is even more amazing, is that I have one of the launch PS2's and it still works!

I can see how that might help, but I really do not think size has much to do with it. The PS3 is bigger than the 360.

I find this unlikely. Sales were good for GTA IV on the Xbox 360. Besides, Microsoft would probably bribe them another 50 million or more just to prevent that from happening.

5566d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

That happens in a lot of games.
