This is the same way windows 8 works. When you shut your PC down it actually hibernates instead of completely switching off and of course this causes problems. To switch this feature off in windows 8 you need to make a change in the registry, good luck with that on your xbox.

True no one is forcing you to do these things so I guess it depends on how they are implemented. Like in San Andreas where you could exercise and improve the build of CJ or doing the taxi missions in vice city to get the jumping car/taxi. GTA 4 did it wrong whereby playing darts or shooting some pool became a chore. Don't even get me started on the phone lol if that's still in GTA 5, grrr.
This game sounds like a chore. I always thought the point of playing games was to escape reality. Do you think I'm really going to enjoy playing tennis, cycling etc or taking my pet out for a walk or whatever and the switching characters business looks awful.
The best thing about GTA has always been taking the role of one character and building up your empire. GTA 4 failed at that and it looks like GTA 5 is headed the same way.
I'd love to see another point and click game
I like the look of the new training modes. Hopefully they've fixed all the other issues.

Fix the passing, through balls, players urge to slide and shoot rather than just shoot, silly defending by computer, trigger happy ref and maybe then it will be worth purchasing at full price.
