I can confirm that a german PS3 magazine gave it a 9 also.
Both MGS4 and GTA IV had over 8 hours of cutscenes and if you asked people about them they would say 3 hours MAX, because it simply doesn't feel like 8 hours. 1.5 hours is NOT a lot and you won't even think about it in a 12+ hour game.
The real question is: where is it? Bam. There it is.

It also states on the same page that it's the PAL version of the game and that it will only play on a European PS3.

It looks like Europe. During WWII. That confirms the protagonist is going to be The Boss. There can be no doubt.
$6 for two maps?
It seems like pretty boring and expensive dlc to me.
If it was new classes, levels, abilities or similar I would definately have bought it.

I can honestly say that shooting in Killzone 2 just feels much better than it does in CoD4, Gears 2, Resistance 2 etc. You just want to sqeeze that trigger and blow some Helghast to Helghan with the awesome weapons.
On the multiplayer side of things, it's pretty much just as good as CoD4, while better in some areas.
Overall, a game you HAVE to pick up if you own a PS3. If you don't, you should consider getting one now.
Wow that looks awesome. Can somebody expain to me how those special characters work? Are they active on any servers? Does anybody even use them?

Killzone 2 will hopefully be just as good as Cod 4. Possibly better.
But it will definately be better than Halo 3.
