The 2D graphics still hold up really well, love it.
I've been wanting a good excuse to go back to PES for years now as FIFA is an awful cash in that doesn't do anything to improve glaring flaws in the games structure each year. PES has improved vastly and this year the option files will be back for all the whiners who can't cope without pretty visuals rather than actually playing a better playable game which is PES. More freedom in play, less scripting and great physics wins it for me.
I still own this game with my SNES and it deserves all the plaudits and positive reviews even now. The music is just haunting and perfectly crafted into this masterpiece, plus the level and world design is just right also, 2D gaming at its peak.

I bought this game on release, and was really looking forward to it. Very soon into the game I realised the linear approach and confusing story was really putting me off.
I left it for a year and just recently got back into it and ended up spending 120 hours acquiring all the upgrades and achievements.

I think Mario 3 is the best Mario game made, both Galaxies are just expanded on from the great Mario 64.
Super Metroid should be higher also.
I can't believe Castlevania SOTN or Super Castlevania IV haven't even made this list, that for me makes this list a total fail!
Personally I enjoyed Sonic Adventure, voice acting was poor and wasn't the biggest of games but I liked the different missions with the various characters, and it still had quick gameplay at times, although 2D is the way to keep Sonic and the new one looks promising
Will buy this if its not a ridiculous arcade price (800 tops).
Defo agree Sega should revive the Shenmue series on the Arcade, finished both of them and would love to see where a new one would take Ryo if it sells well...

I think its in all developers best interests to add trophy support into the older titles. U look at 360 and sum of the awful games that were made such as Vampire Rain, Two Worlds - very poor games but with achievements ppl still buy them coz they wanna whore the points outta them.
So in my opinion it wud be a good idea for the developers to go back add these trophies and it might help them shift a few more copies as the trophy whores look to add to their collection. Games like Call of D...
I played this game a few nights ago and it truly is awesome, 1 player is fantastic but for me its multiplayer that just leaves every other game behind. The cities so huge and on certain deathmatches u can go ages without seeing any1 if u have far spawns and blips turned off, makes the game very tense. If u just wanna battle all the time u can set it to do so also. Cars handle far more realisticly and the gfx r amazin!

Theres lots of small independant retailers who dont play by the rules and theyre bound to start selling it this weekend which will be a big shame.
The Ps3 always looks more realistic in terms of colorin i feel, very grainy and not so bright whereas the 360 is very colorful and sharp. Im gettin both versions as ive got a special edition on pre order for ps3 and normal version for 360 coz all my m8s will b online on that 1. i think they both will have their advantages and disadvantages, cant wait for it!! nearly here!
I never really played these games til I got FFX on ps2 and loved it so much i bought the rest lol.
10 was fantastic, gr8 story altho very linear, Seymour was a cool villain who just kept comin back lol, and Anima is the greatest summon ever, he was way kick ass!
Even after that 7 is by far the best ive played, my greatest game of all time, everything is class bout it and thats why 7 is bein pushed by all the fans to be remade on PS3, that wud b a massive seller if it happened.
I work in a games store and the way its goin any1 who hasnt pre ordered GTA IV probs wont get a copy on release day. We get allocated the pre orders first then if theres any copies in the company not pre ordered they are shipped to the different stores.
As a company we have already hit pre order limit for PS3 (with 360 soon to follow) so if u dont have a pre order then you will have to go elsewhere. Ive heard Gamestation and Game have stopped taking pre orders so it must be the same eve...
I got my copy for £15.99 on blu ray compared to £24.99 online! I get a box, instructions and the option to trade it in and get money towards summat else in the future! only 1 choice for me lol
I was recommended this game by a friend, and have to say this is easily one of the most inventive and brilliant titles on the PS4. Definitely worth a play.
