The original Xbox. It introduced me to hardcore gaming, competitive gaming, and kept me off the streets and drugs. I am who I am today because I bought an Xbox when I did back then.

BiggerBoss - The reason why you want one even less is because Microsoft now looks better than before, which is a threat to Sony. And your own self defense "Fanboy" mechanism is making you stick to your original choice, convincing yourself there is nothing good about the new MS consoles, or decisions. It's your brain's way of making you feel comfortable with the decisions you have taken.

I have always felt like it is Sony's strategies to get journalists...

That's the issue with the gaming industry thought. The only rivalry there really is is between the owners of the consoles, the fans, meaning us.

Like, if you watch any sports, the rivalry is between the fans 90% of the time. The players even talk to each other while in the game.

They are all friends, except for the true fans... :(

I think we are missing the point of the article. I believe he is saying that The Witcher 3 devs got a lot of colds, as in, they called in sick a lot to play Fallout 4 instead.

@DarkAstronaut

That can't happen simply because Sony would shut down the Xbox brand as soon as they buy it and Microsoft's "35%" shares would be worthless. If Microsoft wanted to make money out of the Xbox Spin-off, they would have to buy Sony shares. They'd need to capitalize on Sony's brand, not Xbox One. What would be the point of supporting two consoles?

3 reasons why Fifa 15 is better than PES 1015

1) FUT 15

2) Free kicks and build up

3) Those 3 reasons suck

If the cloud is a joke then PlayStation Now is a bigger joke, since they both work under the same logic. The only difference is that Sony is trying to stream an entire game over the cloud, while MS is trying to get certain calculations that are not time sensitive over the cloud.

PlayStation Now makes me feel like I'm being ripped off... I'm paying higher than average rental price for a game that has a delay. Imagine if you bought a disc game and the response delay was as long as what it is in PS Now.

The concept is great, but I don't think paying full price for a delayed response game is fair.

You need schooling. Before any software can be released under a new protocol (Xbox One), legal details need to be worked out. That part is done by Microsoft, since it is released on their platform.

Remember that most applications have original content.

This is an example for the reason why some applications don't get released in Canada, yet they do in the US. The content exists. It is just a matter of not being able to offer the application to Canadian cu...

MSFT! You need to establish a protocol and rules to enable applications to be launched on other countries faster. You take too long. If it is as close to windows 8 as you say, just develop a freaking module to enable applications to work on X1 with the click of a button. Damn...

IMO, This is one of the best puzzle-platformers in a while. Kind of slow at first, but picks up rather quickly and becomes very interesting. Daddy Highly Recommends It.

@ King Thrash

An honest answer for an honest question then.

That's what makes Kinect great. Once it has been set up properly, you rarely repeat yourself. Out of every 10-15 commands I say, I will have to repeat one.

And you don't repeat yourself because it doesn't understand you, but rather because you said the command to softly.

What's faster? To use my voice. I don't have to look for the controller (whi...

You say all this, yet, you seem to never have used Kinect. It is a brilliant peripheral. Daily steps:

1) Get home
2) say "Xbox on"
3) Say "Xbox TV"
4) Walk in front of kinect and be signed in
5) "Xbox volume up"

go through a couple of channels (with voice)

nothing on

6) "Xbox go to Titanfall"
7) "Xbox snap TV"
8) Look for control...

Microsoft will not sell the Xbox division to another company.

Xbox WILL diverge from Microsoft and become it's own private organization. Still sponsored by Microsoft, but Xbox has matured enough to become a single independent entity.

I would not be surprised if Microsoft announces this over the next few months. Basically, Xbox would become a company like Nintendo.

Taking this step would be a huge leap forward. Xbox generates enough revenu...

You seem to forget the amount of features this system has. These two systems are dramatically different. It is like comparing an MP3 to a Cellphone.

I personally spend half my time using my Xbox One with functionality that I could also do on a PS4. The other half, I spend it using functionalities and features only applicable to the Xbox One.

What this, to me, means is that I paid $250 for a gaming system that can do exactly the same as a PS4. and the other $2...
