...paramount announced 3 big titles on HD DVD. blades of glory, shrek 3 and transformers.
fox, mgm and sony all have HUGE titles coming out this holiday, tons more than HD DVD. not to mention Disney's cars, ratatouille and pirates.
hd dvd has no supporters and no public penetration. at least sony has ps3's and is pushing it with promotion (ie sony store). 100k spent on advertising bluray is money well spent than 150k for useless paramount.

im gonna get this game because i know the devs worked hard on it, that alone sells a game to me. i dont buy games that lazy devs did and dont do jack with it to improve anything (EA cough, Ubisoft cough)
who cares, the install base will rocket up when mgs4 and gt5 come out because most of the ps2 owners havent made the switch to next gen yet. the 360 is only selling in north america (america only dare i say) but everywhere aroudn the world ps3 is doing fine. the reason for the small install base is
1. no european christmas
2. lack of AAA titles (not even a year yet so we dont know)
3. expensive price point
by 08 there will be one european christmas ...

i think the bestsellers this month will be bioshock, madden.. and yea thats it. metroid prime and warhawk are both contenders for best sellers but they came out last few days of august (warhawk on last) so the sales will be split between august and september

yup because ps3 invented bluetooth and i would wonder why people had such large hearing aids on one of their ears.
do you seriously think people are THAT stupid. bluetooth was a plus because its used by the controller and the headset but when playing its no different than 2.4 GHz which most phones and the 360 controller + headset use.
either way, i can use it for my cell and it has great reception so its a double plus for me. dude, stop thinking playstation fans ...

home works. thats all there is to it. i cant wait to meet new people to play with and have a good time in home. theres potential in it and as long as the community and gaming aspects are there, this is gonna be a killer app of its own

it took one year for microsoft to release stuff like gears of war, lost planet, dead rising while it takes sony the same time to push better stuff like uncharted, heavenly sword, warhawk, ratchet, and the revolutionary home.
