It mat uave happened but ppl are slowly realizing that maybe all digital isnt as good as it seems. Needing to sub to a bunch of different services, most which are losing 100s of millions if not billions. And especially foe cloud gaming i cant see the infrastructure getting good enough and widespread enough to cover the same amount of gamers. But at the same time companies wont need as many customers if they sonr have to spend billions every so odten developinf and manufacturing hardware

No vr system is heavily supported by the manufacturer. It would be good for sony to have more of its ips represented but vr is heavily dependent on 3rd party devs.
Sounds like you dont really have vr if the the games listed are "shallow experiences".
Mmos have been on consoles, at least playstation, since ps2.

Ps5 is already on 6nm and ps5pro rumored to be 5nm. Consoles represent alot for amd. Going to 5nm wont be that expensive, relatively. Especially as more manufacturers do less of 7nm production and move to smaller nm.

Sony may not be saints but they are, at heart, an entertainment company they at least have some passion in their products and content. Microsoft is just buy what they can see if it makes money if not oh well windows and server business makes enough money that it wont hurt themcin the long run
