I approve of this title!
YES! A 3d Shovel Knight that plays just like Maximo!
EXCUUUUUUUUUUUUSE ME, PRINCESS
I don't understand why we can't just get a game where the player assumes the role of all pieces of the Triforce- setting events into motion as Ganondorf, fighting behind the scenes as Sheik, then dealing with consequences as Link.
If we can't get that, Nintendo have already set up gender role-reversal in A Link Between worlds. Hilda could totally embark on a quest to save Ravio, or to turn him INTO a hero.
Meanwhile, in other news...
An alternate timeline where Nintendo DIDN'T come up with the D-pad, analog stick or motion controls...

Another "article" with poor copy editing and grammar... -_-
I'm thankful for great games to play this holiday on all systems!
I just don't understand why we can't get a mainline entry that lets the player experience story segments from each side. Who wouldn't want to play a Zelda in the years of planning and waiting for Link to travel through time? Or Ganondorf's time in the midst of the rest of the Gerudo? What about playing as Shiek bailing out Link in a dungeon in a real-time narrative crossover?
If gender-equality is going to be a hot-button issue in gaming, it needs to be handl...
I've waited for what seems an eternity for XCX. In that time, I've also heralded it as the game that "makes or breaks" the Wii U. Boy, was I ever wrong. Don't misunderstand- I'll love every moment of it, but that and Super Mario Maker just seem like pity f***s at this point. Great ones mind you, but nonetheless...
Nintendo SHOULD have been leveraging their back catalog this whole time. Digital eShop purchases should have been met with an email offering a Virtual Console entry in that same series. This accomplishes (2) things: (1) it builds anticipation and, who knows- maybe it even fills in back story and educates younger gamers and (2) gets consumers accustomed to using the service for their retro needs.
Nintendo is perhaps the most fortunate in the gaming space to have so many back c...
HOLY SHIT... SHE MAKES $81 AN HOUR AND THAT SAME NUMBER IS IN THE URL TO HER WEBSITE!?

Sure, wait for Capcom to cater to YOU. That'll teach 'em.
@Vegamyster
There's just something about that screenshot that seems too realistic for Monster Hunter. Something is off.
"2) Nintendo administration, mainly problems are this guys: Iwata, SHigeru and Reggie"

This is an opinion that I'll never understand. Nintendo is a traditional Japanese company that has always moved at a glacial pace. They have made leaps & bounds of progress under Iwata's leadership. Nintendo is a company that now embraces digital sales, pre-loading, post-launch DLC, cross-console network IDs, plus a unified digital marketplace wall...
Oh, snap! B1gbaddaddy!
No voice chat in Splatoon is a HUGE misstep. It's a shame, as fresh a take on competitive shooters as it is, to waste the chance to make it great. When we, the Nintendo devoted, clamor for new IP, we mean for them to take as big a chance on bulletpoints as they do on aesthetics.
Amiibro!
As do I. With more processing power comes more elegant & complex mechanical systems. I remember being blown away by an independent game clock, or how many possibilities the Materia System could offer players in terms of customization. Now, we have more sophisticated AI routines to even further our immersion in fantasy worlds. Fixed/random encounters, turn-based/action, I want them all. Now, if someone could just convince Nintendo to implement light RPG mechanics and loot into Zelda...
I gotta say, I kinda agree here. It's hard to overlook the QoL improvements from MHW and, GAWD is it ever apparent going backward. I've played every MH that's come stateside and this demo was really a slap in the face for me. Think I might be passing this time, too.
