Why would they do that when they can raise the price of game pass and still charge for ea access. They gotta make the money back from buying ea, and xbox players will pay. They can just kill off games with gold to make game pass look better.
Battlefield has twice the player count on ps4 vs xbox. I'm pretty sure fifa is around 2 to 1 if not higher.

I think when people hear drm they think of the draconian kind of drm. All console do have some kind of drm, it's fine as long as the consumer isn't constantly bother by it. Steam is an example of acceptable drm vs GFWL
There was nothing ahead of it's time about their "digital vision" or DRM plans. People don't like DRM that is always in your face. They got steamrolled in pc gaming because their service was terrible for playing games. Log in to GFWL, log in to xbox live, if the service crashed (which it did a lot) you lose all progress. For some reason xbox fans will put up with anything microsoft does

No they want you to buy xbox hardware because they can charge you for xbox live. It's free on the pc and most pc gamers use steam and not the ms store
Its the same graphics in higher resolution. Unless you are talking about art style, resolution is in the graphics category
It looks like the same textures. The PS3 just has bad aliasing. Maybe they use some kind of aa on PS3 that blurs the screen. The textures are probably lower than 720p also
They will use whatever is available from AMD. Just like Microsoft. Since neither of them make their own hardware. By the time ps5 comes out Ryzen will be 2nd or 3rd gen, so it should be better than whats out now

I noticed at walmart, the games section was half ps4 and half xbox+nintendo. PS4 had twice as many games as xbox. It's no surprise ps4 sells way more software.
Nvidia gpus perform better than amd gpus going by their specs. The specs of the xboxxx gpu is basically the same as an amd 480 or 580 (polaris). The gtx 1060 is the card from nvidia that competes with amd's polaris based graphics cards. If you want to go by specs compare it to AMD card, not nvidia.
Its just using amd's polaris chip which got a die shrink. I think 14 or 12 nm. (It was announced a little after polaris was announced) AMD already released their next gen gpu chip which is better and their cpus are much better now too (ryzen threadripper), and xbox 1x still hasn't released lol. Many thought xbox1x was going to use ryzen lol
I think the closed model of console gaming has helped xbox. They tried to compete with steam and it was way worse than ps4 vs xbox one. Many pc gamers avoid microsoft store and games that release on ms store vs steam will sell will be like 95%-5% in favor of steam. On console they can charge to play online and get a cut of any 3rd party game that sell on xbox, but on pc they got nothing from "exclusives" like mass effect or bioshock
Of course they aren't messing up the pc version on purpose. They just pust very little effort into it like all of their pc ports.
Ms abandoned pc gaming after the failure of Games for Windows Live. They couldn't compete with their service they tried to charge for vs free services available on pc. Microsoft will only make money from games they develop or publish on pc. The thing is they don't really make a lot of games, and the ones they have put on pc haven't sold that well. On xbox, they can make money from 3rd party titles and live subscriptions. They won't see anything from titles like PUBG or other x...

Why will sony have to spend money to compete? They can just use whatever new chip AMD comes up with. Microsoft just used the 14nm chips polaris based from AMD, they aren't the ones making the apu in the xboxx. If they waited a few months, they probably could've used the newer AMD stuff, (like many here thought before) though it would definitely have costed more.

The reason why the supra,300z, rx7, gtr, etc. were all limited to around 275hp was because there was some kind of agreement from the car manufacturers to limit the hp. Just need to retune the ecu. R34 will destroy m3. It will beat the m5!

If your graphics card cant put out your monitor's native resolution it's time to upgrade. PC monitors don't upscale so it;s usually best to stick with native res. If you are having frame rate problems adjust graphical setting. Obviously having higher fps is preferable but as long as the frame rate is stable it doesn't matter unless it is sub 30 fps. If you lock fps it just means that it won't let fps go above whatever you lock it at. Locking fps doesn't mean it won'...
