wow you guys are dumb, they obviosly took the HUD away for the video to make it look more cinamatic. that was totally gameplay.
the PS2 had the exact same sales history and it was the biggest selling system ever. Sony didn't change there strategy for the PS3 and it paid off.
why do people keep saying xbox live offers more then the free PlayStation service. I have both an there is nothing that xbox live has that i wish psn had.
that article is just comparing the VGA cameras. Kinect has a second infared camera to track in 3D space.

i wouldn't be surprised, its the same for xbox. u need to be a gold member to stream netflix and hulu plus also when it come out in 2011 for them.
im not sure Sony is doing it as much as EA is seeing the PS3 take off in retailers so they are jumping on the band wagon. all EA cares about is which system is hot at the moment and they will sway towards them. I don't think Sony is paying them off.
it looked pretty sweet, yet i wasn't sure if it was the 360 that was doing the 3D conversion or the TV.

if you take into account the 360's year head start they are basically selling at the same rate. I love how these companies love to skew reality cause the average consumer doest do much research.
plus uncharted 2 graphics were contently compared to the first Crysis. no other console game was ever compared in graphics to crysis, the supposed "graphics king"
i just started playing it so i'm a little late to the game, but it looks phenomenal. Even my girlfriend came walking into the room and asked me what movie i was watching. haha.
there have been amazing PG13 movies and horrible R movies. its stupid to judge a movie on its rating. plus why does it need to be rated R? this movie doesn't have to be R rated, the games were never that gory. i think the movie looks pretty damn fun and i will totally be there. wonder if its gonna be disneys next Pirates franchise. looks like thats what they are trying to do.
look at the wooden banister on the first screen shot. you can actually see the texture and see that its wood on the PS3 show an din the 360 shot its a big blur. same with the "fallen, fallen is babylon" screen shot. look how much sharper the words are on the PS3. night and day. if you disagree then u either need glass or your just trying to be a jerk.
i think it will, the 3D i saw at CES this year, movies and games was theater quality. i was really impressed. i even saw 3D streaming movies which looked really good too.
it was actually pretty cool looking. games in 3D are freaking awesome. couldn't compare the resolution to the game not in 3D though, but it seemed to be running fine. Sony also had a few games in 3D, Avatar and some racing game i didn't see the name of. i really wish there was an FPS there in 3D, i wanted to see if it would make me sick.
the new xbox will be on par with the PS3, "This would give the PS4 a performance leap of over 10 fold over it's predecessor".. holy crap!!!
this processor combined with teh nvidia chip that is specially being made for the ps4 is gonan have this system destroying everything. thast what you get when u have a hardware company doing what they do best, making hardware.
it sounded like they were keeping the same cell processor but giving the system a more powerful graphics card.
the only thing i would pay for is unlimited downloads of PSN content. that would be work $50 or more a year to me. if they did that i doubt they would add movies and tv shows to the downloads , but that would be sweet. i guess unlimited downloads of games would be just as cool.
does anyone think John Carmack is "Predicting" anythign for next gen consoles? He is freakign John Carmack he probably has DEv machines for both the new xbox and playstation sitting on his desk.
