My friend has one of those dreaded HDTV's, and it still looks like crap, he didnt even know about it until I told him, we switched and it looks the same.
Needless to say, he is very unhappy with his PS3, playing in 480p on a year old HDTV just plain sucks.
He has bought three games for his 360 since he bought his PS3, and traded in Resistence to get one of them.
So now, he has no PS3 games, he doesnt even have it hooked up.
The only reason Gears of War isnt #1 is because everyone already owns it. Its not a rental, its a definate buy.

Even if you were trying to break it, I just dont see it breaking through a TV.

You have to wait a year for it to work though.
In Europe MS will have sold 10m before Sony has even launched. So its true, Sony has not completed their launch, and MS is still on track.

You Sony fans said that over and over a year ago, now that Ms gets there first, you will say 10 doesnt matter.
If you are dissapointed with the 360 game lineup, then you will be seriously dissapointed with the PS3's game lineup, plus they dont look as good as the 360 versions.
I would say more like 8 weeks!
I play every day, and get just as excited every time I play. Its an experience unlike anything a videogame has ever given me.
I was in New Orleans this weekend and at sunset there were swarms of bats flying around, I pretended they were Kreel, and stayed in the light for an hour, it was spooky, they sounded just like them!
This is just an example of how Gears of War stays in your head long after you finished playin...
I dont play anything else right now, and probably wont for a while.
