Not really fair since resistance was a launch title and the ps3 was limited in installed base. Resistance sold about 3 million so this second "war" will be better and closer.
It's not first party. epic games is a 3rd party and m$ just made a game deal. also i doubt it will sell more than smash bros. Also don't underestimate MGS 4.

what exactly are you getting at? 360 has an insane lineup that rivals their last year one.Gears of War 2,fable 2[sold over 3 million on xbox,second series right behind halo to sell a lot],Ninja Gaiden 2,Banjo kazooie[rivaled mario during N64 days],alan wake,halo wars,too human. It has great games so don't act blind dude. Also halo 3 was a great game,blind fanboys hate ion it since it is such a big game.
you do realize banjo is huge and can move consoles. it sold tons on N64 and even rivaled mario.

ps3 will be dead last in u.s for sure and they have to pick up the software sales badly. 360 is dominating both wii and ps3 in there and software sales is really important.

I say that it can happen but gta 4 might push some serious sales for 360 and if that can carry 360 till gow 2 then 360 might have u.s on lockdown for this year. software sales on ps3 is horrible. 360 sales are way higher and i think that will stay like that this gen. Even wii has better software sales. 360 out sold ps3 literally each month last year in the u.s. in the u.s they are 3rd this gen.
seems like japan helped a bit. they will probably do good this year but they will never outsell 360 in the u.s. Also software sales need to pick because 360 has insane sales there.
Halo 3 pushed 360 to even outsell wii,over 500,000 on sept. it outsold ps3 tremendously.
