Hard to believe that statement when Sony bought Bungie specifically to get their Destiny live-service game engine.
Now I'll just let a TechCrunch article do the talking:
"In an investor presentation Thursday (May 26th, 2022), Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan outlined a near future for the company that focuses heavily on continually updated online games inspired by Destiny, Bungie’s long-running hit.
Sony expects to spend 49% o...
We'll see. I'll still wait for user reviews first.
If Nintendo puts Destiny 2 on the new Switch, it would be an insta-buy for me.
1080p at 60fps (multiplayer at 120fps if supported by TV or Monitor) for $299. That's a steal!
Wait, what??!
The real hero! Thanks for saving us a click.
As a kid that grew up with subLOGIC's Flight Simulator II for the Apple ][e, I'm extremely looking forward to this.
It sucks, but if technical limitations are to blame I prefer a game that continuously has content to one that stays stagnant. Hopefully, the new areas will be worth it. Also, Bungie already said that eventually the planets can come back and better than ever.
Wow! I think I'm gonna need a bigger computer…
It's an awesome game! The story, the music! I think you'll enjoy it!
There is always new content. These are just little extras. I don't see any harm in that. If they bring everything D1 had ALONG new content, even better!
I do. And I'm willing to pay. And so many millions more.
Yeah, no. I'll wait for reviews (users and websites).
The first Ni No Kuni.
I’m looking out for deals. The X will complement my PS4 Pro perfectly! Also, 4K UHD Blu rays!! hehe
Bungie's gonna need a miracle.
I own both consoles. And they forgot to mention Backwards compatibility and Play Anywhere. Those two are actually pretty good, and the first one at least is something Sony used to do (up to the original PS3s, not the subsecuent.) and should reconsider.
Actually I thought the article was going to mention Backwards compatibility and Play Anywhere. Those and the other two mentioned there make a very compelling case for the new console.
I have a PS4 Pro and Xbox One S (most of my friends play on Xbox). But I definitely think Xbox One X is positioned to become a very important stepping stone for the platform. Already pre-ordered mine.
The problem is, a great number of people can't afford to buy two consoles. So when they commit to a platform they usually forfeit the other one. Even in the case that they have a PlayStation 4 and a PC (albeit a normal-slow one) that doesn't mean they will buy games for both. People stick to one for whatever reason (friends, price, promos, etc.) and they buy only the games they really like.
So yeah, in a way, they are missing out. Tbh Cuphead is very good AND cheap...
I have to admit, I can't wait! If erratic movement is the worst problem of GTA 6, then the problem is not that bad. The only possible thing that could derail GTA 6 is Rockstar itself.
