If they charge you $10 for a DLC each month, it doesn't matter if its a single map or a bundle, it's still a DLC and they run for $10 to $15, and that's PER MONTH. The COD Elite program is pretty clear on this point. Also the number of maps is much larger than most people are thinking they will be to justify the price point of the DLC's. Why don't you just crucify the dude telling the news for giving you good information. It seems to be your 'forte' sir.
I just confirmed with the management of my local GameStop (store of the future) branch that it is indeed a map 'pack' per month. Some months may be just a single map, some may be 2 maps, some 4 etc. regardless, a pack or a map, it's still a DLC that costs $10-$15 however you slice it.
That was obviously a typo, and as far as their update I have to wonder what the #'s will be comparing Dead Island to Gears 3's results. Any takers on a bet that Gears wins over Dead Island? Anyone? :)

This game is extremely cool, and the guide is just as they said, absolutely spoiler free and 100% useful. Just wanted to give kudos where it was due. Video guides are both complete spoilers, basically illegal (i mean if I paid 15 million to make a movie and someone put it on YouTube and made a blog to post it as 'a walkthrough' i'd want to sue them)... And it's actually worth having this GGD site since it's mostly a text guides that I do a double check or lookup on my pho...

Gears 3 so far is better than I thought it would be and I was hoping for a 10 out of 10. Looks like the critics agree with me. :)
