I had an upscale DVD player before I got my PS3 and the difference is night and day on my 50inch Sony 1080p. I still get people that wonder why I buy blu-ray and not regular DVD and I tell them until you see for yourself and experience it, STFU!!!! My girlfriend just got me HellBoy 2 on BD, and she is no videophile, but she can tell the difference! Blu-Ray for life! All my new movies I buy come on Blu-ray baby!

Ok, first off I am not smokin' anything. And two, yes 60fps is smoother, I can't argue that, but as long as gameplay is good, 30fps is good enough for me. It is a difference, but not enough to get all uptight about it. EA needs to get off their high horse and learn the PS3 cause it is more than capable to do 60pfs. Look at NG Sigma and others that are coming out. Hopefully the xbox 360 will run long enough to see Madden at 60fps. It might kill the machine...lol! Just kidding!

I have always played Madden on PS2 because of the better controls. Who cares about 30fps or 60fps. Your eyes can only see so much. As long as the gameplay is good, then I don't really give a crap. So EA can take their 60fps and stick up their butt and rotate on it!!

I just got my PS3 3 Weeks ago and I must say that for the $500 dollars I spent on my 60gb PS3 (due to trading all my PS2 equipment), I am very very happy with the turn around and can play my PS2 games in a higher resolution and watch DVD'S upscaled. Just do what I just did, I turned in my old PS2 which was in mint condition and most of the games I will never play and got over 100 dollars in store credit. There was my price cut right there!! And I did that this week and I am happy with my purchase! There are a few games yes, but I have alot of PS2 games to get caught up on until they start rolling out this month. Better get it now before the real games start coming out cause I know once Heavenly Sword comes out, PS3 sales will spike.

I have not seen any problems yet, but who the heck is running PS3 Software department! There is no way in the world there is suppose to be any issues updating firmware. Some body did not leave well enough alone! This looks like a typical engineering screw-up!
