Thanks for the article. I thought GamePro was a bit harsh and shortsighted. It was refreshing to hear a rationale article in this age of sensationalism. Kudos!
Doesn't work on Vista but it works on XP? I guess it was too hard for the baby developers to work on I guess.
What are the differences in gameplay to BF2. Thoroughly loved BF2, hopefully this updates it.
I like the list, but boy was that a poorly written article. Basically the writer spends 90% of his time summarizing the games under the microscope but only spends a minute amount of time discussing WHY the game is considered disappointing. Ok, so CoD:MW2 was disappointing, but why? Only spends like 2 sentences summarizing its critics.
... but DICE did. MP can be fun at times. But the lack of balancing, terrible latency and hit detection, not to friendly spawn points, and small maps that encourage camping and spawn killing, the game is basically killing itself.
I may return to playing it if there is ever a decent patch that addresses the bugs and the MP balance I would return to playing on occasion. But with CoD:BO out, it is really hard to justify a return to this game.
CoD didn't kil...
That video could've been of Bigfoot for all I know. Could barely make out anything. And this was newsworthy?
Got mine! My Gamestop in Victorville, CA near the mall are selling them to anyone since they have extras! Will be playing it tonight!!! Good luck to the rest of ya...
Yeah, I noticed that too. Strange...
Yeah you hit many points right on the head, sadly...
Yeah, agree with the article. When I played the beta for CoD4, I was blown away. A year later, playing the beta for CoD:W@W, it is not the same feeling. The maps are week (very small), guns are underpowered (I feel like it is halo 3 because of the amount of bullet it takes to kill anything), and the overall feel is just not the same (A bit arcady??? Just doesn't have the brutal realism in the presentation as CoD4).
I am still going to pick it up on launch in spite of my criticism...
Great game and spent many hours living the life of a dictator. But man this review is late.
But if you can find this game, get it! You won't regret it.

@RedSoakedSponge
Yes, maybe. But in their tech demo to the public they never tried to adjust it to give an accurate preview of the controller's potential. This is suicide from a business standpoint, therefore they should have taken the time to polish the demonstration rather than present to the public a video that took five-minutes to produce.
