Despite its design, Sony suggests you don't stick it in your butt-hole.
Uncanny valley of player interaction. The more that you can do, the more the roadblocks are apparent.
I'll rephrase.
What is the point of Romeo and Juliet if Joe contard sits at his TV and hammers the circle button for a happy ending?
Would Night of the Living Dead retain its racial/social commentary if almost the entire cast survived because you held square, triangle and X at the same time?
When Heavy Rain wants to convey meaning, you're a gamer held hostage (the baby scene). When Heavy Rain wants to be a game, its story falls apart (the wildly differen...
Hammer X and Macbeth can keep his head. Not only does Heavy Rain mistake player prompts for interactivity, its multiple endings are just various shades of the same murky drivel. There is a single ending which fits all the characters in their appropriate places according to their psychology, but given how many variations there are, very few have seen it.
A story needs an author who understands the characters and the meaning that the overall work aspires to convey. Making it intera...
This has NOTHING on Kojima-Sans Amazing story of one Solid Snake. How DARE minded puny imbecile know nothing about game's.
N4G users are really, really stupid. No wonder websites like this shovel this into your mouths.
Played it in French. Solid but nothing special.
Having played the game through to completion (yes I'm a pirate), and utterly hating the last two entries in the series, ODST has reconfirmed why Bungie is considered such a great dev. It's the finest Halo campaign since the original.
Intolerance toward homosexuals (online and otherwise) can summed and ultimately ignored through a hilarious fact: Homophobia is associated with homosexual arousal.

Most of those who fling around homophobic insults harbour closeted homosexual desires themselves.
Leave it to Sucker Punch. Wish they'd skip Sly 4 and get working on a sequel to this.
This idiot reads Game Informer. Hah.
@Buttons
I'm playing it now. 6 and no more.
Fear 2 is a far better paced and executed singleplayer game, and Edge noticeably puts more value in that. (See Resistance 2 whose great multiplayer carried little weight)
Their reviews are far more intelligently written than any other slop that the media produces, and while you might not agree with their take on a game they always have a well substantiated viewpoint.
By the way, you people are complaining about a 7. LOL.
"LAWLAWLAWL MOTORSTORM KILLER!!!??!?!?!?!?!!?!...... ROFFL ROFL ROFL COPTER"
The only people who claimed it were like minded imbeciles like you, albeit deranged in the opposite camp.
A little late, but multiplayer requires that. Gears of 2 proves this kind of review process is needed.
It's good that they don't use scores, but their bullet point style is a very boring read.
"reviewers have become critics" Switch those terms around and what you're trying to say will make some sense.
There isn't much criticism, just review.*
This is disgusting. By law they are entitled to every cent they're owed. IW employees should just leave en masse and collectively sue these sickos.
