Could it just be different artist and tech? I think with MK9 they had the characters looking over the top cartoony to downright ugly, due to the limitations of the 360 and PS3 at the time, then with X you could see they were moving to a more realistic design, and now with 11 it seems that goal of realistic design has been reached now that they've seem to have perfected the facial technology with Injustice 2.
I think the costume designs for the majority of the character...
Spoke too soon
The game itself is good, the story is good, as well are the characters, but you can tell where WB Interactive busted the doors open and split the game into a cash cow.
I kinda agree with him, we're all just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks.
What the hell?
I can respect that, I think they've should've bundled it with 4.
Who even asked for this?
Because it's a game for all ages, kids could see it, which is reason enough to be vigilant.
He'd drop it into early access, and make you wait years before it releases.
Good riddance, shit like this is a cancer, if you don't cut it out people will keep pushing and pushing.
What if positive reviews are for the wrong reason?
It's hard to tell until we get some definite specs, console gaming will always be a step behind PC gaming because they're made to last for 7+ years, where as PC parts can be swapped as frequently as the user wishes, to take advantage of the newest advances in tech.
Not saying either is better, but one clearly has a definite advantage, really i'd just like to see consoles finally be able to run games consistently at 60 FPS with full HD graphics.
But what does that have to do with PC gaming? And where did you even get that information? We've barely seen anything about next gen consoles outside of rumors and a little bet of info sprinkled here and there.
Personally I love it on PC cause I can run it at 144 fps.
Isn't that all rpgs though?
@Srhalo If you honestly think cross play is nothing more than smear campaign then you're too paranoid to see the truth, that people just want to play together regardless of platform, being stubborn and resistant to change just for the sake of being resistant gets us nowhere, with crossplay communities could last much longer, it's a bigger picture than just selling more or less consoles.
Because they're the leader, and don't want to risk giving up that lead, that's the point of the article, no matter who it is the leader will be hesitant to share their success as it may give the competition an advantage.
I kinda dislike Randy Pitchford as a person, I mean it's one thing to support crappy things like this, but it's even worst to keep bragging about it and antagonizing the people who you expect to buy the game.
Steam isn't a monopoly though, it's the most popular platform but it's not a monopoly, that's not even how monopolies work, just because you say it's "basically" a monopoly doesn't mean it is. There's still competition for Steam, sure not as popular as Steam, but still competition, Humble Bundle, GOG, U-Play, Origin, and even piracy.
McDonalds is the biggest fast food place in the world, but it's still not a monopoly.
Imo the fatalities seem like "silly" and just more brutal and graphic than ever to the point where it's near cringe inducing in a good way.
