So I am an early backer. I had access to the beta too. The beta and the final release look the same, actually the release looks better. The character models are so much better.

Console version hold pc version back. Let's just make it a pc exclusive so we can get the best version possible

Facial expressions and lip syncing is the last thing to be worked on in a game. That all comes in when they record the character voices. Right now they will be working on mechanics and such.

I'm sure pc will offer even better graphics than xbox one x. Pc wins

i sold my wii u just before it released.

Yeah not linked. i could understand them if they said "we would consider doing a remaster of the original xenoblade chronicles if this one is successful"

This is disgusting. Characters that look like little girls being molested by tenticles. What's wrong with you people.

I was dubious at first, but after playing it, I was hooked. it is really good. I bought it the day after playing and can't put it down.

Doesn't seem a very balanced article. I dont mind articles expressing an opinion like this, but they need to address counter arguments to the author's views. Video games are very subjective, and so opinions shouldn't be addressed as facts, as this author has done in this article.

Metroid and Pokemon announcement will be the two things I will remember from this e3. Microsoft and Ubisoft had great shows, but these two announcements will stand out. This will resonate differently with people, as many will not care for these titles.
I am disappointed there was no mention of virtual console or a super smash on switch.

So I think we can all agree nintendo won e3. Metroid and new Pokemon announcements. Done

sounds like there will be some announcements during the tree house events too. perhaps too much focus has been given to this 25 min spotlight, as it looks like there will be some cool news later too

this will be awesome. playing skyrim laid in bed. goodbye 8 hours sleep

I find it quite funny when they censor it. Like people don't know what they are saying due to a bleep here and there.

I don't think cod pushes ps4 or Xbox particular hard. It's an old engine

2551d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

I would buy this just for switch unless my ps4 mates bought it on ps4. However, most people I know are tired of cod. Main reason is being able to play this in bed for long stints or while next to the mrs on sofa while she watches tv.

Yeah, this is a bit of a mess. Not sure how practical this is. I was hoping that somehow the switch would connect to my phone and channel audio out through it while my headset was connected to my phone. That would be really good and probably better in some ways than how I connect to my ps4 or pc, as I would have lobby features and such on my phone with game on the switch or tv. But this... urgh

But surely the same logic applies. You can only write sequentially for so long before it needs to start splitting up data files to various extents on a disk

2551d ago 4 agree0 disagreeView comment

Im surprised that there isn't a built in maintenance task to rectify fragmentation of data. Its common sense that if you are adding and removing data a lot that fragmentation creeps in, and performance can be affected.
This could probably apply for all the storage on the disk. you need to run a game from disk but all the data pages are scattered across the disk due to the extents filling up, then performance will be battered.

I couldn't agree more.
